Hey Assaf, This is Hamas:

Deputy Speaker of Hamas Parliament Ahmed Bahr Calls for, "Killing of Apes & Pigs" (Jews)

Allah Akbar! The commentators said with regard to this blessed verse that Allah would impose the nation of Muhammad upon the Jews until the Day of Judgment, and when they would be defeated and Allah would transform them, just as they transformed them (into apes and pigs) when they disobeyed him. That is why Allah imposed the nation of Muhammad and the Jihad-waging Palestinian people, upon those siblings of apes and pigs, until we sweep them out of our land and holy places.

Yet Assaf, a Jewish Israeli, thinks that Hamas, a genocidal anti-Semitic organization, represents a partner for peace.

It just staggers the imagination that anyone could be quite this obtuse.

By the way, have I mentioned recently that the Day of the Dhimmi is Done?

No?

Well, let me tell ya, the Day of the Dhimmi is most certainly Done.

"impose the nation of Muhammad upon the Jews"?

Yup, we had 1,400 years of that kinda fun, Assaf.

1,400 years.

But not no more.

The Jews are a free people.

Thanks.

This illustrates that a partner for peace may be anything but.

  2. Exactly.

Not only is Hamas not a partner for peace, they quite literally call for the murder of Jews.

How in this world could anyone think that an organization that calls for the genocide of the Jews should be a negotiating partner for the Israelis?

What really needs to happen is that Israel should take Hamas out of the picture entirely.

  3. The fact that they call for the murder of Jews and that people call for Israel to negotiate their own demise with them says loads about those who call for that; they don't give a crap about Jews. Period. Their ideology insulates them from whatever humanity they may have. In short, they would have made great "ordinary citizens," in Nazi Germany back in the day.

  4. As to the myth that cuddly bears Hamas treated Gilad well:

Noam Shalit: Gilad's captivity was harsh
Former Hamas-held soldier's father says Gilad is doing well under the circumstances; family, IDF caring for his every need.....in response to a question quoting Hamas' statement that Shalit was not tortured in captivity, his father said: "I suggest you take anything Hamas says with a grain of salt. Gilad underwent very difficult things during his captivity. I won't go into that now… His treatment did improve a little bit over time."

That grain of salt would need to encompass about 2/3rds of the mine, no doubt.

  5. Do you think that maybe, just maybe, Assaf would feel just a tad different if it was him who had been kidnapped rather than Gilad Shalit?

  6. Man Hamas would have PAID Israel to take Assaf back after 10 minutes of his mouth.

No amount of spin will change that.

And hopefully, after the Bibi-Hamas deal, more eyes will open to this fact.

how Netanyahu could continue to claim that Israel can't negotiate with Hamas."

How simplistic are these unicorn worshiping Lollipoppians?

  9. It's very bizarre.

Netanyahu called for negotiations without preconditions.

    Obama then set preconditions.

    Then Abbas refused to negotiate.

And these idiots blame Israel for intransigence!

Either they're morons or they are playing some evil game in which they demand that Israel negotiate. Israel agrees to negotiate, while Abbas refuses, and then these "progressives" claim that Israel does not want to negotiate.

    It's just disgusting.

  10. Morons can only be part of it. Another part is hate of BIBI and the evil right wing except that Assafiban also dissed Olmert and Barak saying essentially that all of Israel is and has been lying about no peace partner.

I think what we have is assholes who because they don't live in Israel and therefore are not liable to be blown up or have their heads chopped off, are quite happy to act as neo-Kapos in whatever new order emerges in Israel after it surrenders. Dhimmi to the max minus any of the pain. Then they can hold their heads up high as ultimately moral.

  11. The whole dynamic on the left when it comes to Israel borders on evil.

They don't mind violence against us because they see it as "resistance."

The Jews of the Middle East have had 1,400 years of this kind of "resistance."

And now we have people who think of themselves as morally superior telling us why the violence against us is our fault.

And they're supposed to be the enlightened ones!

Uncle Assaf is so consumed by guilt for his own actions, I believe, that he projects that same level of guilt on Israel. So in Uncle Assaf's twisted worldview, the kitten-like Palestinians have bent over backwards in an effort to accommodate and make peace, and the Israelis are intransigent. In Uncle Assaf's calculus, it is the Palestinians who lack a partner for peace.

The problem with that is that Uncle Assaf's calculus is deeply flawed. One need only look at the simple arithmetic of the Shalit deal to see how ignorant Uncle Assaf is. Israel had to give up more than 1000 Palestinian criminals, many of them bloodthirsty murderers and more than a few still unrepentant, to get what in exchange?

    One low-ranking soldier.

    One.

Israel handed over more than 1000 people, hundreds of whom aren't fit to walk freely amongst humanity, to get one person in return from the oh-so-generous Palestinians.

I guess Uncle Assaf skipped a lot of math classes.
