Freudian Slip?

Doodad

Arabs or Palestinians? Seems like even Assafiban can't make up his mind. His new Israel demonizing diary is entitled:

"Law Enforcement" Destroys Prayer House, Homes, School - Just Because They're for Arabs"

So which is it? Arabs or Palestinians? Because ideologically it DOES make a difference, doesn't it? IMO it does since the whole conflict began as Arabs against Jews; not as Jews against Palestinians. Of course, we aren't supposed to talk about that, are we?

(Note: I am not addressing the usual "hate Israel daily," content of the diary, only the Freudian slip.)

  1. We have our biases here as does Assaf over there.

Our biases, it seems to me, assume that Jews of the Middle East are not evil. Assaf seems to believe that they are and wants others to believe likewise.

    He writes:

"Many people are unnerved, confused, even offended, hearing the terms "apartheid" or "ethnic cleansing" with regards to Israel, or even only with regards to the Occupation dictatorship Israel insists to continue running in its backyard."

I am neither unnerved, nor confused, nor even offended. What I am is simply disgusted that a Jew could defame his fellow Jews.

    "Occupation dictatorship"?

    Is that a new one?

In any case, Assaf is one of those proud racist Jews who believes that the Arabs are nothing more than small children who must be protected from those vicious militaristic Jews.

    The inversion is pretty sick.

He takes the aggressors and turns them into victims and he makes the victims out to be the aggressors. This is the very nature of Arab anti-Jewish / anti-Israel propaganda.

If the local Arab population does not like the "occupation" than I very much recommend that they cease their efforts to kill Jews. That's what the so-called "occupation" is, after all. It is Jewish attempts, via things like roadblocks and checkpoints and the blockade, to prevent Arabs from killing Jews based on their genocidal and racist theological agenda.

As soon as they give up on their Jew Killing Policy the occupation will end, but not one moment before, I suspect.

Assaf is essentially a Nazi collaborator.

  2. You can see that his diary only brings forth the venomous.

The inability of these folks to see the forest as they chop small trees is testament to why they will not succeed.

If this is what they obsess over, I say let them have their fun. No minds are changed and as the Middle East falls under an Islamic wave, it becomes easier to see they are out of touch. What reasonable person would ever listen?

As Tunisia institutes an organization patterned after the religious police in Saudi Arabia, among other things, their obsession in hating Israel pushes them further to the extreme.

  3. Collaborator indeed. His blog is called:
The Villages Group: Cooperation in Israel-Palestine. They state:
"Therefore, our Villages Group aims its activity to improve awareness and familiarity between Palestinians and Israelis, and to deepen the human relationships between them."

This turns out to be pretty much 100% demonization of Israel. Methinks they need to give their heads a shake.

  4. I like your description of "as the Middle East falls under an Islamic wave," oldschool.
Goldberg has an article you might like.

  5. Assaf believes that his fellow Jews are perverse and evil.

    Check this out:

"Israel's government is trying to murder the soul of a people and wipe it out as a nation..."

    Holy shit! Really??

Is that what they are up to? Benjamin Netanyahu and Avigdor Lieberman wake up each morning pondering how they migh best "murder the soul of a people."

This is the blood-libel, essentially. He is telling the world that the Jews of the Middle East are evil.

This is a crime against the Jewish people by a fellow Jew. This is just the kind of stupendous hyperbolic defamation that results in little things like pogroms and expulsions and persecutions and riots and, ultimately, the holocaust.

This is just the kind of thing that the Nazis told one another before they set out to kill us.

It's so shameless as to be almost unbelievable.

Murder the soul of a people?

Tell it to Tamar Fogel, Assaf, you insidious little prick.

  6. Agree 100% karma. Assaf and his ilk are living in an alternate, perverse universe.

  7. btw, notice that he has no actual sourcing for his assertions.

His first link goes to a site that is entirely in Hebrew which makes it worthless for his purposes. It seems to be a link to "E.T. Legal Services."

I had no idea that ET became a lawyer!

    Call home, ET!

The rest of his links go directly to his own website and one goes back to Daily Kos.

In other words, behind all the defamatory gibberish is nothing that we can legitimately point to as a source.

    G-d, is this guy vile.

What occurs to me is that he has so thoroughly absorbed the Palestinian narrative that, for all his hatred of the Jews of the Middle East, he might as well be a Palestinian.

All the guy is doing is reflecting Arab propaganda as it emerged out of the Kremlin in the 1960s. That's when Arafat was told by various communist advisors that the local Arabs need to stop talking about pushing the Jews into the sea and, instead, talk about "national liberation" and the "oppression of the indigenous population by racist imperialists" or whateverthefuck.

He's just following the fucking script.

It's just absolutely revolting and it is the kind of thing that leads to dead Jews.

  8. "Assaf is essentially a Nazi collaborator."

    Yes. That is exactly right.

Assaf etc. are the contemporary Theobald of Cambridges and Isaac Deutschers. They are the contemporary morally corrupt deranged self-serving Jewish anti-Jewish racist libelers who contemporary non-Jewish anti-Jewish racists view as being, and present as being, "The Good Jews".

"He takes the aggressors and turns them into victims and he makes the victims out to be the aggressors. This is the very nature of Arab anti-Jewish / anti-Israel propaganda."

This has always been the very nature of anti-Jewish racism.

    Karmafish,

In (a comment on your previous post titled "The Moral Bankruptcy of the Progressive-Left", you wrote, about so-called "Progressives":

"They also do not trust us to speak on Jewish issues in the way that they do trust Black people to speak on Black issues or Latinos to speak on Latino issues."

One of the core elements of anti-Jewish racism is the belief that Jews are liars - except, of course, for the morally corrupt deranged self-serving Jewish anti-Jewish racist libelers, who non-Jewish anti-Jewish racists view as being, and present as being, "The Good Jews".

  9. Jewish people are seen, by almost all culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian - people, and, of course, especially by culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian people who are exceedingly anti-Jewish racist, as being rich and powerful - and as, therein, not being victims - that is: as, therein, not being capable of being victims.

This is one of the factors of anti-Jewish racism that makes anti-Jewish racism insidious and perverse and exceedingly dangerous.

  10. "culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian - people, and, of course, especially by culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian people"

I love ya, dude, but what are we going to do with you?!

    ;O)

And anti-Jewish racists view Jewish people as being immoral and evil. And, as part of that, anti-Jewish racists view Jewish people as being liars.

These factors of anti-Jewish racism make anti-Jewish racism insidious and exceedingly dangerous.

These factors of anti-Jewish racism make anti-Jewish racism genocidal.

It's time to stop the madness of anti-Jewish racism.

It's time for Jewish people to verbally defend themselves like normal human beings.

  12. Dan, instead of all that verbiage, how about something like "many Christians"?

I recognize that you are trying to draw necessary distinctions, but you make it very, very difficult for your readers.

    Trim it back, dude.

    Edit. Edit. Edit!

  13. Karma,

I was referring to, and making a distinction between, two groups of people: A, and B.

"[A] almost all culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian - people, and, of course, especially by [B] culturally Christian-European - Christian and post-Christian people who are exceedingly anti-Jewish racist."

  14. Karma,

Yes, I'll try to trim my writing back to make it more easy to read.

  15. Got it.

The distinction is between Christians and Christian anti-Semites.

What you could have written was:

"Jewish people are viewed by many anti-Semites as being rich and powerful - and as, therein, not being victims or even capable of being victimized."

    See the difference?

I am not trying to give you a hard time, because I value your contributions here. It's just that you persistently bury your insights under an avalanche of unnecessary and distracting verbiage.

I wish that you would not.

  16. But, the thing is:

I'm referring to, and making a distinction between, culturally/ethnically European Christians and culturally/ethnically European people who do not consider themselves to be Christian, but who are culturally Christian-European - and who, therein, are what I have referred to as post-Christian.

Maybe I could just write: Christians and post-Christians - but that doesn't specifically refer to the cultural European element of the world views that they hold, including the views that they hold about the Jewish people.

    ReplyDelete
  17. And, furthermore:

I was referring to, and making a distinction between, common culturally/ethnically European Christians/post-Christians and culturally/ethnically European Christians/post-Christians who hold exceedingly antipathetic racist wrong views about the Jewish people.

As part of that, I was referring to the fact that anti-Jewish racism is a deeply engrained part of the culture of culturally Christian-European Christian/post-Christian societies, and that, as part of that being the case, most culturally/ethnically European Christians/post-Christians hold, to various degrees, racist wrong views about the Jewish people.

  18. Man I love reading you guys! Keep it up.

"He's just following the fucking script."

"Assaf etc. are the contemporary Theobald of Cambridges and Isaac Deutschers. They are the contemporary morally corrupt deranged self-serving Jewish anti-Jewish racist libelers who contemporary non-Jewish anti-Jewish racists view as being, and present as being, "The Good Jews".

Love it! Speaking truth to useful idiots.

  19. Dan, your distinctions are not helping to promote your view.

    Christian.

    Cultural Christian.

    Cultural Christian post-Christian.

    European cultural Christian post-Christian.

And on and on and on.

It would be one thing if the point was to discuss how anti-Semitism might vary between white European Christians and white European non-Christians, but that's not the point.

The point was that anti-Semites (whether Christian or non-Christian or post-Christian or culturally European post-Christian or Rosicrucian, or whatever) do not believe Jews capable of being victimized.

Wasn't that the central point in your comment?

It's a perfectly good point, but you bury it in all that other stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Rich and powerful and incapable of being victims. Exactly Daniel. And "white," among some; let's not forget that one. Recent stats from the FBI showing that hate crimes against Jews far outweigh those against Muslims do nothing to reduce the notion of rampant Islamophobia in America by those who have bought the Narrative.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, and the thing of it is that, by and large, diaspora Jews are not victims.

    I am not a victim.

But, the Jews of the Middle East are, in fact, long time victims of the Arabs. First as dhimmis and then, after sloughing off dhimmitude, as the ongoing victim of conventional wars, terror wars, and delegitimizing propaganda.

Yet, despite this, they are doing amazingly well for themselves.

I actually find it remarkable how successful Israel is despite the never-ending racist hostility toward them. And make no mistake. The true source of the conflict is Arab anti-Semitism.

Were it not for Arab anti-Semitism they would have accepted the partition as fair since that is the place where Jews come from and have lived continually for well over 3,000 years.

Also, of course, Israel treats its Arabs far, far better than Arabs have treated Jews under their authority. It's not even close. In fact, Arabs are treated better in Israel that Arabs even treat one another throughout the Muslim Middle East.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I often wonder how much of the hate actually derives from Israel's remarkable success? Jealousy, anti-capitalism, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Interesting. Particularly the part about post-Christians. Not sure I understand what that is. Or maybe more importantly, what the significance of the label is.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Stuart,

post-Christian: not consciously adhering to the Christian religion, but being culturally Christian: holding a world view that includes, among other tenet views of the Christian religion, the racist wrong view: "The Jews are guilty".
