Dovid Efune tells Obama what’s what

If Obama thinks that with the success of Yair Lapid in the recent elections he successfully threatened the Israeli public, he should think again.

  1. Somewhat O/T, and just a random thought apropos of nothing, but I do wish our elections here in the US would produce 65 - 70% voter turnout, as Israel's just did. The more the merrier.

    1. I'm still processing the recently Israeli election.

Things are getting very interesting, very quickly.

It's looking more and more like the EU, with Obama's quiet backing, is going to really put the screws to Israel which, needless to say, will encourage the UN, the Arab governments, the Palestinian leadership, and progressive-left anti-Semitic anti-Zionists to press on their respective ends.

Will the forthcoming Israeli government have the strength and flexibility to negotiate seriously roiling waters ahead?

Ya got me, but yeah, they definitely get out the vote.

    2. "they definitely get out the vote."

A sure sign of democracy in peril, eh?

As for the EU, one would think that they would have more immediate concerns much closer to home. I know for certain that we do here in the US, too. Like by way of a for instance, let's try and make a serious effort to once again get our trains running at least as well as they did in, say, 1950. And stuff like that.

One would hope the president spends more time focusing on these things during the next four years, than in playing multi-dimensional chess with screws and whatnot. ;)

    3. Good luck with that. A recent Jerusalem Post news item quotes Secretary of State nominee John Kerry:

“So much of what we need to aspire to achieve and what we need globally … all of this is tied to what can and doesn’t happen with respect to Israel/Palestine,” he said, pointing to issues in the Maghreb, South Asia, the Gulf and elsewhere.

      Goddamn liar.
