"So, it's now antisemitic to demand that Israel treat the Palestinians humane?"

Michael Lumish
Despite 2,000 years of diaspora and the scattering of the Jews via European imperialism in the Middle East and the various pogroms and persecutions all leading to that romping good time that we call The Holocaust, the progressive-left still thinks that the Jews are the aggressors.
As a real-world acquaintance of German extraction once said to me, and I paraphrase, "So, it's now antisemitic to demand that Israel treat the Palestinians humane?"
The Arabs have been stomping on the Jews since the time of Muhammad and this individual honestly believes that the Jews are not "humane."
Let that sink in for a moment.
This is a progressive-left "anti-racist" of German ancestry who believes that the Jews of the Middle East are not "humane" and the Arabs are like tiny children in need of a chocolate chip cookie and a pat on the head.
Why does that sound just so familiar?

  1. You were there, but would this not depend on what exactly was being discussed? Seems ironic that a German would "demand" about humanely treating others, and that Israel is not humane. Alleged liberals know how to be woke, but that also makes them ignorant. Are they aware that, in effect, they support behavior that is the worst of the worst when they attack Israel's legitimate right to self-defense. Or are they saying that only Israel does not have that right? Which leads back, like so many roads, to antisemitism.

      It's called massive guilt.

  2. I might add:

    And:
"BTW, accusing the Israelis of being inhumane monsters, a calumny for sure, meets the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism."

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think it always has been.

  7. Many commenters have already touched on my theme, but I'll add that defining the denial of the Palestinians their privileges under the Pact of Umar as inhumane is Jew-hatred.

    1. The same mentality as in this "progressive""antiracist's" so-called question has been launched against Jews even when they had no power or means of self-defense, i.e., incredibly claiming the inhumane treatment of others. There is an urge to blame the Jews no matter what the facts say. The facts will be rearranged and their meaning reinterpreted to fit the narrative, whether European or Arab. This is antisemitism.
How else to explain the propensity to overlook the language and deeds of the Arab side of the conflict: a mountain of evidence.
