...I can't believe that you posted this, Doodad.

I was JUST looking at that article and pondering whether or not I want to front page it.

One thing in particular gave me pause. Her second observation, while largely true, is not always true. For example, the Nixon administration did not push the Jewish victims to surrender but, rather, gave them heavy weaponry with which to fight off the Egyptians.

Nonetheless, her point is well-taken.

What we are looking at is the long Arab war against the Jews and it is a war that would not be continuing except for the fact the western powers fund it by providing financial support to the PLO and Fatah, if not Hamas.

So long as the western powers, and various western institutions, continue to fund Arab terrorism against Jews than that terrorism will continue. If, on the other hand, the western powers defunded these violently racist organizations then we could drain the swamp.

Abbas is both a dictator and a terrorist and it is some akin to criminal that the Obama administration and the EU tell the world that he is a "moderate."

He isn't.

PA television still incites genocidal hatred toward the Jewish people.Mike L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06450806807610560873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6579213173749170024.post-35431023402005431422013-09-25T12:47:55.622-07:002013-09-25T12:47:55.622-07:00Laughable remarks by Obama et al in light of the c...Laughable remarks by Obama et al in light of the current increasing terrorism by Palestinians going on lately; the killing of 2 soldiers and increasing violent incidents.

http://www.jpost.com/National-News/Rioters-throw-stones-at-security-forces-at-the-Temple-Mount-in-Jerusalem-327040

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/172188

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/172201

Now we hear that Palestinian "youth," are planning a 3rd Intifada:

"PA Arab Youths Call for New Intifada
A group of Palestinian Authority Arab youth has called for a new wave of armed resistance against "the occupation forces" starting Friday.

A group of Palestinian Authority Arab youth has called on PA Arabs to launch a new wave of armed resistance, or intifada, against Israel.

The group, which calls itself the "Coalition of Intifada Youth in Palestine" on Tuesday issued a call for a new intifada to break out on the anniversary of the Second Intifada, also known as the Oslo War, which broke out on September 28, 2000.

In a pamphlet it distributed, the group stated that the way of the intifada had in the past united “the Palestinian people” and will unite them again.

The group called for confrontations with "the occupation forces at all points of friction in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Al-Quds and the land that has been occupied since 1948," starting this Friday, September 27.

The pamphlet states, "The young Palestinians are thirsty to remove the injustice that exists in Al-Quds and in the holy sites to Christianity and Islam which are subject to daily Judaization by settlers, to curb the expansion of the settlements in the occupied cities in the West Bank and end the oppressive siege on the Gaza Strip.”

The organization also claimed in the pamphlet that PA Arab youth would transcend all political differences and unite fully against the "occupation" and called upon PA Arabs to demonstrate this coming Friday in all PA Arab cities.

Several weeks ago, Fatah’s armed branch, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade, declared war and announced that it would give the “green light” to terrorist attacks targeting Israelis.

Tensions have been high in Judea and Samaria lately, particularly over the past several days with the murders of two IDF soldiers in two separate attacks.

On Sunday, 20-year-old Gabriel (Gal) Kobi of Tirat Hacarmel was murdered by terrorists in the Avraham Avinu neighborhood of Hevron, near the Machpelah Cave. Kobi was shot by the terrorists and later died in the hospital.

Last weekend, IDF soldier Tomer Hazan was kidnapped and murdered by a PA Arab terrorist with whom he had worked in a restaurant in Bat Yam. The terrorists lured Hazan to Samaria, where he murdered him and disposed of his body."

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/172214#.UkM8Mn8mW2A

While the cats are away, the rats show they do not want peace....they want violence.

Doodadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03349941094682080146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6579213173749170024.post-85335736195853759202013-09-25T10:39:09.995-07:002013-09-25T10:39:09.995-07:00The are so many non-sequiturs in Obama's UN ad...The are so many non-sequiturs in Obama's UN address, its hard to keep track of them. Let's just deal with a few of them.

The first item revives the discredited notion of linkage, best known as "Iran For Palestine" even though one has nothing to do with the other. Israel is being asked to essentially decide on their terms of its own suicide. Terrific - if you can call that a solution!

Obama couldn't be bothered to mention the historical connection of the Jewish people with Judea and Samaria. What's up with the exclusive insistence on the term "West Bank?" Only people who don't have warm feelings for Israel habitually bring it up. Its like Obama has deftly erased one side of the conflict. You mean Israel doesn't have a legitimate claim to the area? Its gets even better!

Obama mentions Palestinian Arab dignity, security and sovereignty. Wait a minute - you mean for the Jews those things don't count? He didn't even list them as an afterthought for Israel. Now we are really in trouble with the clear bias in favor of the Arabs up-front.

Peace in the Middle East is impossible! The Jewish and Arab aspirations are NOT factually or morally equivalent. One side wants peace. The other side desires the destruction of the Jewish State. But you won't hear Obama cite a single reason to back Israel.

Israel's existence is NOT dependent on the good grace of the Arabs, the United States or of any one else. Israel's security is not dependent on Israel's satisfying whatever demands the Arabs desire to make of it. Israel's independence is complete and unreserved just like that of every other nation on earth.

Obama's speech therefore isn't a good sign for the future. It disheartens friends of Israel and strengthens its enemies. The only thing we can be sure of is that Israel will face tough sledding from this Administration in the remainder of its term in office.NormanFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03365459073293643108noreply@blogger.com
