Cairo rally: One day we'll kill all Jews

Doodad

Dkos posters and other usual suspects everywhere are STILL touting the Arab Spring as a springboard to Arab democracy. Most sane people don't believe it because of stuff like this.

"Arab hate: Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews." Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nation's partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state......'Treacherous Jews'Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews."....'We have different mentality' Muslim Brotherhood spokesmen, as well as Palestinian guest speakers, made explicit calls for Jihad and for liberating the whole of Palestine. Time and again, a Koran quote vowing that "one day we shall kill all the Jews" was uttered at the site. "

The organizers of this rally are the Muslim Brotherhood who conventional wisdom says will win the election and who Obama and Hilary et al are currently courting and welcoming aboard. Obama, Hilary, Democrats! Pay attention to what these murderous types are saying and stop being on their side before they start the killing. What in the world are you thinking?

  1. It appears to be disintegrating into the very chaos that Mubarak and others predicted. The current of antisemitism permeates through it all, but that may not be discussed if it takes away from the anti-Israel message. There is a hierarchy of hate.

  2. There's an interesting article here:

"... the West’s ability to ignore the Arab world’s pervasive anti-Semitism means it consistently fails to understand the most basic problem facing Arab countries...Indeed, people who consistently blame an outside agency for their problems – whether it’s Jews, Western colonialism or anything else –are incapable of building any kind of decent society. You can’t fix a problem if you consider it beyond your control, and if it’s someone else’s fault, it is beyond your control. Only when people acknowledge that they have contributed to their own problems can they begin to seek solutions.

That’s why Arab anti-Semitism matters so desperately –not because of the threat it poses to Israel, though that is real, but because of the threat it poses to Arab countries’ own development. The same goes for the Arabs’ tendency to blame their troubles on Israel or the West. Evasion of responsibility for its own welfare has always been, and continues to be, the Arab world’s biggest problem.

And by pandering to it – for instance, by asserting that solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is necessary for Arab development even though it patently hasn’t been necessary for Israel’s development – the West is entrenching this problem rather than helping the Arab world to confront it."

Every single recent uprising has had its antisemitism revealed. Even the usual suspects hint at it as heathlander
    does when he says:

"It's pretty straightforward: any democratic election in an Arab state would bring to power an anti-Israel and anti-American government."

The democracy that is expected is some mutant democracy that hates Israel. Yet the left applauds its coming; that rough beast slouching towards Bethlehem.

  3. Morocco just elected the second Islamist government since the start of the Arab Spring. You know where this is going.

  4. We are betrayed.

The Obama administration is welcoming the Brotherhood into power.

The Brotherhood is, essentially, Islamic Nazis.

We simply cannot trust the left, unfortunately.

  6. Norman, the west doesn't hate Jews.

As a group, it is not that they hate us, but that they honestly do not care one way or the other.

Although it is true that we have much better friends on the right side of the political spectrum than we do on the left.
