That's me around 2006 or 2007.

Laurie snapped that shot as we were getting ready to march toward Civic Center in San Francisco in opposition to the wars.

My, how times have changed.

This is before I noticed Swastikas entwined with Stars of David showing up at "peace" rallies.

  2. Thanks for this, Doodad.

The funny thing is, I just now bookmarked that article not five minutes ago.

The truth, of course, is that Obama has been awful as a president of the United States on pretty much every level.

On the domestic front the economy is in shambles and on the foreign policy front we are facing the rise of the Jihad.

I know that people like Stuart want to say that nothing is Obama's fault, but I am sorry, the president of the United States must take responsibility for his actions and his lack of actions.

He actually encouraged Americans to look upon the Islamist Spring as something akin to the Civil Rights Movement in the United States.

How irresponsible and wrong-headed is that??

We've got to vote this guy out of office, which will be no mean feat, I tell ya.  Who among the Republicans can win?

    Romney?

    Newt?

Hell, at this point I would vote for a hot pastrami sandwich, with onions, mustard, and melted swiss, over Barack Obama.

And to think how enthusiastic I was to see this guy come into office.  What a shame.

  3. You should replace your pic with that poster.

Obama should be called out for this. Even more for the secret meetings being held with the OIC that move us toward making blasphemy a crime, though no one's freedom to practice religion is threatened in any way.

When will someone ask the OIC why they seek tolerance when they do not practice it themselves?

I feel bad for many progressives that have lost sight of the plight of millions of people across the globe that suffer persecution at the hands of the OIC.

Obama still thinks they will come to the table through cooperation, and has yet to learn the lesson one can only by actually looking at what the OIC states tolerate within, and their basis for both law and politics.

That said, there are many fighting back. Among most Americans, Obama earns more bad than good from this. Yet I am not ready for the way that Newt or Mitt will dismantle society either, although it may hasten the day of reckoning where as a country we must adopt a human, yet real set of priorities.

  4. He had a lot of people fooled. Still does. All I know is that if one vision of things can't save America then it's time for a different vision. The vision isn't what matters; only the net results.

That said, I'm not sure anyone's out there with the right vision.
