Now is the time for ‘real leadership’ and an end to ‘counter-productive unilateral actions,’ says State Department spokeswoman
The United States on Wednesday urged Israel and the Palestinians to return to the negotiating table and resume, in earnest, long-dormant efforts to hammer out a comprehensive peace deal.Look at that picture.
“As we turn the calendar to 2013… now is the time for leaders on both sides to display real leadership, to focus on the work that’s necessary to return to direct negotiations,” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in remarks cited by AFP.
The US was asking both sides “to clearly demonstrate that they are serious about achieving two states living side by side in peace and security,” she said.
I love the fact that it looks just as if Netanyahu, Clinton, and Abbas are just about to burst into hysterical laughter.
:O)
I'm childish, I know.
{Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!}
Hey, those peace conferences aren't about peace, they're about all the free food the conferees can chow down.
ReplyDeleteI kinda hate to say this, but it has become quite clear that peace will only come with actual victory. Until the Arabs come to understand that they have lost their ongoing war against the Jews of the Middle East they will continue to fight and they will continue to use the "Palestinians" as the front line troops.
ReplyDeleteThe Jews of the Middle East remain under siege because the Arab world and the Muslim world has no intention whatsoever of ending their persecution of the native Jewish population in that area.

ReplyDeleteWhich fairy story did that come out of?
Hasn't the good old U S of A heard a word that comes out of the mouths of Abbas, Hamas and Maashal?
