Reports: Iran building 3,000 advanced centrifuges

Mike L.
Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization says final production line of uranium-enrichment centrifuges 'has reached an end'

Iran is building about 3,000 advanced uranium-enrichment centrifuges, Iranian media reported on Sunday, in a development likely to add to Western concerns about the Islamic state's disputed nuclear program.

Iran announced earlier this year that it would install the new-generation centrifuges at its Natanz uranium enrichment plant, but Sunday's reports in Iranian agencies appeared to be the first time a specific figure had been given.
Just as last November the Obama administration sent Hillary Clinton to Jerusalem to save Hamas from further Israeli retaliation during Pillar of Defense, so this month we will see Obama, himself, come to Jerusalem to save Iran from any Israeli action against the possible creation of a Holocaust Bomb.

My suspicion... and this is merely informed speculation... is that Obama's visit to Israel toward the end of this month will kick off the beginning of the next round of international delegitimization.  Obama will make some demands on Israel concerning settlements that Israel will only partly acquiesce to.  The Palestinians will then take this as their reason for not negotiating and the Obama administration will make some noises in public concerning Israeli "intransigence."  This will be the signal to the Europeans to step up the pressure with Obama "leading from behind" in order to maintain plausible deniability.  We will then see an increase of violence by Palestinian-Arabs against Palestinian-Jews, as well as an increase in violence by Arabs in Europe against Jews there.  The hatred on the campuses and in the left press will intensify thereby fueling the entire dynamic.

Meanwhile Barack Obama will sit smugly in the White House and wonder aloud to Jewish leadership if the Jews in Israel honestly do want peace.

Have they searched their souls to Obama's satisfaction, yet, do you suppose?  Because, y'know, Obama, in a deeply contemptuous fashion, thinks that Jewish people aren't self-reflective enough.

  1. There is some evidence to suggest that there exists a second heavy water reactor at Arak. The key significance to this is that a HWR is used to build plutonium. It has no civilian use at all. But that is a political point. From the perspective of nuclear chemistry it means that Iran has embarked on a second path of bomb-making. A plutonium path, in parallel to their uranium path. The deeper issue though is that once you have a HWR you simply turn it on and it makes plutonium. Then you use a some machinery to refine it into a metal you can use to build a bomb. A bomb much like the one the DPRK tested last month.
