  1. It's not every day that one can be accused of not caring about racism by the very same racist that you just called out for engaging in racism, lemme tell ya. ;)

And speaking of 'brains,' something that same person accused me of not having, I also managed to avoid having mine eaten by an antisemitic blog zombie at Daily Kos after having a 'discussion' with them, as well.

All in all, an interesting week.

  2. March now marks two full years since I stopped wandering the country, and came back home to Philadelphia for good. The only place I'll ever live again.

Has it been that long already? Time flies when you're in a place you love. ;)

  3. Another perfect late summer day here with big fluffy clouds framed by blue sky and sparking sand and rolling ocean. Not too hot. Soft gentle breeze. Maybe a tad humid. Think I'll go for a swim later.

    2. Btw, I'm getting ready to likely have to work a double shift (16.5 hours) on Monday, outside in yet another snowstorm (anywhere from 6 - 18 inches are expected). Hopefully, finally, our last of the year? It's supposed to finally be back to seasonal temps by early next week, but who knows. They've been saying that for like three weeks now.

On Tuesday, I'm being sent to a seminar by my employer (a clean work day away from sewage, with a free fancy lunch!), but unfortunately I'm probably going to have to show up there dirty, tired, hungry and unshaven, on four or five hours' worth of sleep. Great timing, dirty bastard snowstorm!

      Argh...

    1. Heh. At least I know how to remain safe around it, though! I haven't caught polio yet, so I seem to know what I'm doing.

Work is dirtier, but there's less hate speech there, even in the locker room. ;)
