Obama Supports Hamas and Jewish Democrats Have Something to Answer For

Michael L.

In the Algemeiner we read the following:
hamas1U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Wednesday engaged in an “amazing, Alice in Wonderland-quality exchange,” in the words of blogger Elder of Ziyon, of verbal gymnastics to defend the U.S. government’s support of the newly formed Fatah-Hamas unity government.

In a transcript of her press briefing, Psaki insisted that the new government that would rule the Palestinian Authority under PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was purely technocratic, justifying the U.S. support for the regime claiming Hamas was not actually part of the government.
This is simply dishonest and we all know it.

"Technocratic," my... ass.

But let me ask you this, if Hamas is not actually part of the local Arab government, how can it possibly be a unity government?  This is just flat-out hogwash, but it clearly demonstrates the low opinion that the Obama administration has for the intelligence of the American people and for its Jewish constituency.
But then Associated Press reporter Matt Lee asked how there could be a unity government, in essence, the unification of Hamas and Fatah, without Hamas playing role?
Psaki the said that a rocket attack that struck Israel from Gaza on Wednesday would  not have any bearing on the U.S. decision to support the PA and continue to fund the regime.
Ummm... excuse me?

So, violence from the other side is irrelevant and, according to the Obama administration, when terrorists seek to murder Jews the leaders of those terrorists should still be considered "peace partners"?

The Elder is, of course, correct to the Alice in Wonderland-nature of this administration when it comes to the Jewish people and to the Jewish State of Israel.

When was the last time in American political history that the presidency announced public support for an organization designated as an enemy of the state?  The Department of State can toss around this nonsensical verbal goulash, like "technocratic," all they like but it does not change the fact that the Obama administration is funding terrorism and hatred.

It is just so obvious and now I almost feel embarrassed for Obama's slave-like, Jewish sycophants.

During an exchange between Associated Press reporter Matt Lee and U.S. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Wednesday, Lee made the following claim:
But if Hamas feels that it can shoot rockets from Gaza into Israel with impunity and this has no effect whatsoever, for example, on its ability to form a unity government with the PA, even if there are no Hamas members in the actual government – you have a disincentive that you could use here, which would be to stop dealing with the unity government or to stop funding it, and that might tell Hamas, ‘Well, maybe we should think twice about sending rockets in.’ But the way you’ve cast it, they can send an unlimited number of rockets in and they can still be supportive of this unity government and you’ll still give the unity government and the PA money.
Indeed.

What we have just learned is that the Obama administration quite literally intends to fund violence against Jews in the Middle East.

That is not rhetoric, nor is it hyperbole, but quite literally a fact.

Hamas calls for the murder of Jews directly in its charter and it makes good on that call by shooting rockets into the tiny State of Israel.

Hamas has now joined with the PLO to form a unity government that is funded by American taxpayers.

Yet, somehow, the Obama administration wishes to slither away from the fact that it is paying Arabs to kill Jews.

It wants to deny that it pays Arabs to kill Jews, even as it announces that it will be paying Arabs who seek to kill Jews because those Arabs who seek to kill Jews are an allegedly important part of the "peace process."

This is the ridiculous condition of American foreign policy when it comes to the ongoing Arab war against the Jews in the Middle East and it is precisely this kind of thing that Obama's slave-like, Jewish sycophants will need to answer for going forward.

At this point, I would have to say that the Obama administration is among most vile administrations in American history.

I voted for the guy in 2008 and so I have to take a dose of the responsibility.
