    1. My understanding is that it does not include about 90 percent of the world's Muslim population.

One thing is certain, I have never seen the country this on edge.

  2. Milo Yiannapoulos (however that is spelled) went to speak at UC Berkeley, the home of free speech, but there were riots by the defenders of free speech, and so it was called off, I guess because "we don't a want a his kind 'round a here."

    1. Ya gotta love Milo.

The guy is entirely out of control and is just having far too much fun.

As you probably know somebody got shot at one of his recent events, UC Davis maybe?

From what I can tell he's basically a free speech advocate who runs down identity politics because identity politics blankets free speech.

That about sums it up, I suppose.

I tell ya one thing, I would absolutely not want to cross that guy in the public square. I saw a recent youtube in which some kid during an event implied that he was a white nationalist.

I felt bad for that kid afterwards because Milo bounced him around like racquetball.

    2. Mike,
I did not know of the shooting. How very sad that is.
Anyway, my wife's son in Moraga hates him and said something like, "he can run his mouth anywhere else in the world, and tough nuts to him," and "alt-right, blah, blah blah." I got this info through my wife.
I'm betting he has never sat through one of his speeches on youtube and is merely reciting the mantra. You can agree or disagree with Milo, but he is one entertaining son of gun. I was, however, taken aback by my stepson's low regard for the free speech rights of those who had invited Milo, and justification for the brownshirts that shut it down through threats and acts of violence.

My alma mater was getting pretty bad by the time I graduated. It is now worse by orders of magnitude.

    3. Back in my day, before fire, and the wheel, we didn't have 'school loans'. We had money and/or we worked. We had 4 years and if that meant going to summer school that was that.

      "You going to the protest?"

    2. Consider what? The EO is perfectly Constitutional if you know anything about immigration law.

The people objecting do so for one purpose, to attack Trump, and do so no matter what he does. Looking at how some protest, it smacks of fascism. These protestors demand things they deny to others. They are not democrats or liberal in any respect.
