Guest Piece by Justin Amler

Justin Amler

{Editor's note - this piece was written by Mr. Amler on Facebook and seems to me that he has a nice, concise grasp of the matter. In any case, as soon as I read this I said to myself, "I want it." He was kind enough to agree to its publication here. btw, I do not know if the link above will work on all browsers. It may be dependent on one's Facebook settings. - ML}

So it looks like the United States might finally recognise Jerusalem as Israel's capital... something we Jews have known already for the last 3000 years. This is definitely welcome news, but it's more for world consumption than for the Jewish people themselves. At least President Trump had the courage to do it - more than any other previous US president. I just hope it's not contingent on Israel giving into some hidden demand somewhere...

But meanwhile the reaction to this news has been predictable.

The palestinians have threatened violence which hasn't happened since... oh... what... maybe 5 minutes ago? And it must surely be a nightmare being Abbas's secretary, because undoubtedly there'll be a 'Day Of Rage' scheduled. How does the secretary do it, because there are more 'Days of Rage' scheduled than days in a year!!

The Jordanians will huff and puff about international law and human rights (2 concepts completely foreign to them), even as their own fake country is built on the foundations of smoke and feathers. Maybe the louder they huff, it will stop people from asking on what legal basis do THEY even exist at all?

Turkey has threatened to break off diplomatic ties, still struggling with the fact that the Ottoman Empire is long gone and they don't get to threaten or dictate to Jews anymore. Perhaps they're suffering from Post-Colonial Stress Disorder...? They've got Hamas on speed-dial so maybe they can organise a dictatorship support group along with all the others countries and entities in the world having a heart attack about this.

The EU is having a fit - even as their countries become subject to more Islamic violence. While they are discussing more boycotts, maybe they can start off by boycotting all the security help they get from Israel??

Sadly, there will undoubtedly be violence, but it is not because of the rather obvious recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The violence would have come anyway and inevitably. It's because across the entire Arab world, there remains a single dot which isn't Arabic, but Jewish.

Small and proud and forever.

  1. European leaders know J. is Israel's capital too. But they are working hard to ensure the next generation doesn't. In this regard, they are playing catch up with the Arabs who've been at this game for a bit longer.

    1. What eludes me is the motivation. To just say, "antisemitism" doesn't tell us much.

I find it difficult to believe that it is nothing but pure cynicism on their part. I mean, do they honestly believe that they have more to gain by currying favor with the Muslims or the Arabs and therefore they are knowingly screwing over the Jews and lying about it?

      I doubt it.

People believe what they want to believe and my guess is that most of the idiots in the EU honestly believe that Jewish claims to Jerusalem represent an injustice or are ahistorical.

    2. Or maybe they honestly, truly believe that if Israel jumps thru sufficient hoops via the "peace process" then Arabs will be satisfied and, therefore, acknowledging Jerusalem as the capital of Israel staggers that possibility.

    3. Antisemitism is certainly part of it. There is also some sort of post-colonial guilt, holocaust guilt (or maybe shame), the post WWII belief shared by many that the notion of the nation state is evil (except, apparently for "Palestine"), intersectionality, you name it. But let's face it, demonizing Jews is an old habit. Many people over there really do believe that Israel is sinister and malign.

    4. At this point, Europeans look inside their own states and see what confronts. As in Eurabia, they take the easy way out, or so it seems.

Not to mention that Europeans invented Jew hatred.

Germany is offering $6,000 or so if a refugee goes back. They should make it $20,000. Then it might work. In the end it will be a bargain.

  2. Europe tried for a thousand years to exterminate us. Now that 80%+ were wiped out in Europe they've decided to become globalists and outsource that job to others and go after the rest of us everywhere else. They found kindred spirits or at least reached a quiet detente with a culture that has an equally long genocidal hatred of us to partner with. That's why.

And yes, I'm a bit to the right of Jabotinsky on this. The 'palestinian-Israel' conflict is the first tribal war of the 21st century. Tribal wars end in total victory and total defeat.

  3. It's just like with Trump. No matter the issue, complete overreaction and fake outrage. In this case they must pretend not to know what the other side does in reality.
