Vic Rosenthal and the Real Real Reason

Michael Lumish

In this piece titled, The Real “Real Reason the Left Hates Israel”Vic Rosenthal does a concise job of breaking down the ideological backdrop and sources of contemporary western-left anti-Jewish racism and hatred for Israel.

I don't think that I would call Rosenthal "New Center," but like the New Center he identifies postmodernism, postcolonialism, and intersectionality as representing interlocked ideological constructs that, taken together, provide the justification for the never-ending harassment of Israel as the "Jew among nations."

Ultimately, without saying so directly, Rosenthal provides an explanation for how it is that the EU pays, and the Democratic Party wants to pay, the Palestinian-Arabs to keep up their ongoing war against the Jews, as it did under Barack Obama.

I wonder what percentage of the funds gifted to the Palestinian Authority go into the so-called "Martyrs' Fund"? This is when Arabs are paid by the PA, via the European Union -- and prior to Trump, by the United States -- to murder ordinary Jewish people in the streets of Jerusalem. We know it as "pay-for-slay." Within the United States, it is the Democratic Party that coughed-up those hundreds of millions of dollars for Mahmoud Abbas' mansion and the "pay-for-slay" program.

Yet, somehow -- against all reason and decency -- the Democrats still believe that they deserve American Jewish support and most American Jews are still willing to give it to them.

This is why Israeli Jews are becoming increasingly disgusted with American Jews who, for allegedly the noblest reasons, continue to support the progressive-left enemies of the Jewish people.

21 comments:

  1. EU will continue financing pay-for-slay, and when Progs get into power here they will pour massive amounts of money into it. American Jews will be at the forefront with enthusiastic support, as always.
It can't be stopped at the political level.
Israeli security services must know people directly responsible for running funds transfers. Maybe if something kept happening to them and their replacements eventually no one would want to be involved.

I was actually blocked by a feminist page

  4. [8] The Far Left hates the USA,
and Israel is an ally of the USA.

[9] The Far Left is the ideological heir of the

  5. I have never heard a convincing argument come from any postmodern leftist I've met. Actually, I've rarely heard an argument, mostly just sloganeering and some weak slight of hand. I've always found the postmodernist/postcolonialist/misozionist dismissal of facts, like the rest of its justifications, too convenient way to feed itself and suck in the unsuspecting. It always strikes as a permission slip to act infantile.

"Goldman explains how the popularity of the postmodernism of Derrida and Foucault made it difficult to challenge political narratives on the basis of factual truth. The Jews may say they are the aboriginal inhabitants of the Land of Israel, but the Palestinian Arabs claim a history of thousands of years in “Palestine,” descending from Canaanites or Philistines or whatever."

Apparently Foucault never heard of lies or liars. That leaves a big gaping hole in the whole darned theory.

Edward Said was fond of accusing the West, and only the West, of bias. He was a schmuck and a violently antisemitic bigot. Europeans' distorted view of Arabs was apparently a super duper problem, but Islam's view of the infidel 'just right' and never affected anything? And nothing stopped Ed from pontificating about Jews and Zionists all day long. Nothing wrong with that, huh? Because Ed Said's vision was just perfect. That's why he is god of the progressive campus elite.
I remember when someone said to me that Edward Said was pointing out the pro-Israel "bias" vs. the Palestinian "perspective." Can you imagine how brainwashed someone has to be to let such a description go by without even blinking?

Said's life's work on the subject can be summarized as, "Never give a sucker an even break."

    1. I can hardly bring myself to step foot on the San Francisco State University campus due to that loving mural that they have on the side of the student union.

Of course, the student union is formally known as the Cesar Chavez Student Union which is directly adjacent to Malcolm X Plaza.

I don't know that I have anything particularly against Cesar Chavez, but I have no idea what his opinions were concerning either the Jewish people or Israel.

Even Malcolm X turned against racism before his brothers in the Nation of Islam shot him dead.

But a big mural of Edward Said?

This is not a friendly campus and if Jewish parents send their kids their they should be sure those kids know a martial art.

But I read A People's History of the United States sometime during the Bush II administration and I was marching against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

      Times have definitely changed.

The estimated net worth of Rashida Tlaib is $800,000 – far above the average American. This is the same Rashida Tlaib who pretends to be an oppressed minority.

It's good to see investigative journalism exposing them.

Long article but I'm gonna go back and read it slowly and carefully. This stuff is MUST reading. Thanks oldschool.

"It will feature the man who fell full-length on the steps in his effort to escape and the well-dressed woman who became so frantic to get out that she hit the stranger in the next seat," he wrote.

Whatever could it be? "The Painted Bird", based on Jerzy Kosinski's highly contentious 1965 novel about a Jewish boy surviving the worst human nature can inflict on him in an unnamed Eastern European country, was hailed as a masterpiece by some and an unwatchable ordeal by others"
