Explaining how so many people argue Iran's case

Sar Shalom

All the tools used to depict the Iranian regime as a peace-loving clique threatened by a warmongering bully are deployed in this video.

  3. NBC covered the Revered general's funeral live. Wasn't that nice?

    1. Has Trudeau apologized to Iran yet for the presence of Canadians on that plane?

    2. Jeff, you are not gonna believe what has been happening in Canada lately in several major cities but mostly in Toronto, 60 miles from me.

A bit ago about 200 Iranian/Canadians held a vigil for the General complete with pictures signs candles and a shrine.

"Even worse: Toronto law enforcement was on hand to ensure these supporters of one of the biggest state sponsors of terrorism in the world would not be offended by any rude questions.

Indeed, one cop told a Rebel News reporter that he would be arrested for breach of the peace if he were to even say the word “terrorist.”

At some of the vigils for the plane victims, fights broke out as some Iranians were accused of being spies for the regime. It all disturbs me a great deal.

    3. Can someone be arrested for merely saying the word "terrorist"?
Did the reporter ask the cop how saying the word would be a breach of the peace? And if it is, then why isn't holding a vigil for a terrorist committed to the downfall of the West NOT a breach of the peace? Some intrepid reporter needs to be asking these questions.

Soleimani, whose name most certainly derives from the native tongue of the little satan, was a terrorist. His supporters are terrorism supporters, just as sure as G_d made little green apples. No B.S. is going to change that fact.

    4. Iran just admitted it shot down the plain by accident. Perhaps the world will make them stand in the corner for an half an hour. Then praise them for their honesty.

  4. Sometimes I almost despair about the absence of anything resembling a backbone in my country but at least we don't have a PM like that cowering fluffy faced bottle of milk in Canada.

  5. Does no one have any to say about the parallels between the case for the Empire and the case for our enemies?

Example, the video makes the case that the Empire was careful to only target legitimate military objectives ignoring that when Kylo Ren went looking for a data device and the person holding it sent it elsewhere, he ordered that all the civilians in that person's village be slaughtered. Similarly, to make the case that Israel wantonly violates Palestinian freedoms, Peter Beinart (y"sh) once made the case that the IDF is free to enter Palestinian land, including Area A, ignoring the fact that the IDF did not have this freedom prior to the second intifada and that the PA exploited that constraint on the IDF in order to build a terror network.

    1. To be honest, I couldn't sit through the whole video, and I've only seen the original 3 Star Wars films.
Re: Beinart - he believes there is such a thing in international law as "Palestinian lands," and "what would his grandmother say." I have always found him to be a real schmuck, doofus, and another dishonest individual. I think he should go to Israel and kiss the ground that the Jews have somewhere to go, no thanks to him and those destructive forces he enables with his mammy pamby nonsense whereby college students get to decide things based on their genius and overwhelming worldly experience. He's a jerk and I've been saying so I first read what he had to say and then heard him speak in that Bugs Bunny on ritalin voice.

    2. Sorry for holding backing on my true feelings for Peter Beinart.

Major General Qassem Soleimani — the man responsible for a vast infrastructure of global slaughter and oppression, and with blood on his hands from American and British soldiers, as well as Iranians, Iraqis, Syrians, Yemenis, Jews and others — was described in The New York Times after being annihilated by an American drone as “universally admired.”

“Democrats who had hailed the extra-judicial killing of Osama bin Laden in 2011 as a personal triumph for President Barack Obama, now claimed absurdly that killing Soleimani was unconstitutional.”

    1. Perverse...great word Melanie Phillips used. Anybody mourning for that evil creature is as evil as he was. With Iranians protesting against their evil rulers, only Trump and Bibi have expressed support for them as far as I can see. Certainly no Dems have.

    1. Many Dems have argued there is; that he hadn't anything bad enough lately; that it would cause WW3. One would almost think Iran is paying off these morons.

    2. WW3? Who's the Axis ready to be allied with the Iranians, the Dems and who else?
