I still cannot believe how blase people are about the rioting, looting, arson, and attacks on both ordinary citizens and the cops in places like NY, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland. Where I live, Oakland, Antifa and presumably BLM went batshit crazy downtown a few nights ago.

One SF Giant refused to kneel, saying that as a Christian he shouldn't kneel before anyone but g-d. Neither should anyone else. But, hey, I've read the Declaration of Independence. I have not given my consent to BLM to represent me in any way whatsoever and I do not support them. This is a subversive organization which threatens the rights of all free born people. I wouldn't be kneeling, but giving it the finger. Should my black colleagues find that concerning, I would welcome the chance to explain.
Hello. Here I am. I have, in fact, gone through an entire series of fun-filled health issues. I contracted salmonella a short while back. That was great! I did not eat for three days or sleep for two nights. On the second night I started hallucinating! That was definitely interesting.
When Biden calls for education about Islam, would that include discussion of what Hassan Mneimneh calls the "theology of the Jews?" (http://jewishrefugees.blogspot.com/2020/06/muslim-thinkers-must-dismantle.html )
We should not impute subscription to the theology of the Jews solely on the basis of obeying the five pillars of Islam. On the same token, we must not ignore the fact the many corners of Islamic thought, include that of many go-to groups for western media to find out what is "Islamic opinion," do subscribe to that theology and that while Islam is not in and of itself an obstacle to being a member of a democratic society, the "theology of the Jews" is such an obstacle.
I promise you one thing, they will not teach Islam, neither its history nor its theology, in an honest manner. Furthermore, what happened to the separation of church and state? If they are going to instruct on the Islamic faith will they also instruct on Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, Rastafarianism?
