This is the Progressive-Left

Palestine has always been a multi-ethnic, (2+ / 0-)

multi-faith place, generally ruled by other people.

What's new, and definitely artificial, about the State of Israel is that it's an attempt to create a racially pure state in a place where there never was one before.

Truly the destruction of the earth only results from the destitution of its inhabitants, and its inhabitants become destitute only when rulers concern themselves with amassing wealth. Caliph Ali, 7th century

Israel and the Jewish people are among the most ethnically diverse countries and peoples on the face of the planet, yet Sadie here is basically accusing Israel of Nazism, of a desire for ethnic purity, despite the fact that the Jewish people come in every human color imaginable.

But the point is, this is the progressive-left.

If you care about Israel and the well-being of the Jewish people then you must face this kind of harassment on a daily basis, if you wish to participate on the left.

It is not, as School likes to remind us, that the left is crawling with vicious anti-Semites. It's not. In fact, as a general rule the left is far more "Islamaphobic" than it is anti-Semitic.

Their racism toward Islam takes the form of condescension, i.e., treating Muslims and Arabs as little children who are never responsible for their own behavior.  Sadly enough, some Muslims and Arabs, like, say, the Unspeakable One and Soysauce, actually prefer this treatment.  They like being patted on the head and given treats.  I find it grotesque, but that's just me.  That's the way I treat Fred and Snort, not fully grown, allegedly responsible human beings.

The way they treat us is to simply stand on the sidelines and watch as we are perpetually forced to defend ourselves and then, needless to say, blame us for aggression.

But, what can I say?

You guys have a terrific Rosh Hashanah.

  1. "Racially pure state," shows how dense and brainwashed this poster is; like so many of her ilk. Israel is far from that and has no such intentions. Reality eludes these folks. Palestine on the other hand, like many other Arab/Muslim nations has no qualms.

  2. Yes, quite delusional. That is representative of what I have been saying. Who could take this person seriously?

The disconnect is also seen in the al-Awlaki and Khan killings. So much hysteria when the policy was initiated, but virtual silence now that it occurred. Perhaps they are happy at the events, even if they refuse to admit it.
