Greetings, youze all. Live from a new-ish craft beer bar down in Fishtown, enjoying a Troegs Sunshine Pils, I hope the weekend finds everyone well.
Had an awesome week, capped off by great news on Thursday. Also, a day in Atlantic City (work then beach, not gambling), the Trenton Avenue Arts Festival, the Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby, and Philadelphia's Israel65 parade and festival are all on tap (heh) for next week.
If he ever turns into a closer, he can use the nickname "The Rev" and come out to, like, the Undertaker's early-90s WWF wrestling music. Something like that.
Dim the stadium lights during night game entrances. He can rip off a fake collar on his run to the mound, etc. That would be undeniably cool. ;)

Another excellent outing from Pettibone, btw.

My man! ;)
It's early in the season, but the Phillies are definitely still in it.
DeleteYou guys have won 3 in a row and are only 3.5 games back.
But, really, "Pettibone"?
That is not a baseball name.
Buster Posey.
Now there is a baseball name!
Rollie Fingers is one of the great baseball names of all time... aside from the great Hank Greenberg.
But "Pettibone"?
Pettibone sounds like some 19th century minister from Kansas, as in, say, the Reverend Jedediah Pettibone.
lol.
