Michael Lumish

The old joke goes something like this.
Two Jewish men are sitting on a park bench in Berlin during the mid-1930s. One is reading Der Stürmer. The other turns to him and says, "Why are you reading that antisemitic Nazi rag?"
The man replies, "Because when I read the Jewish press they talk about how we live under oppression and the Germans want us dead. However, when I read Der Stürmer I learn that we rule the world. It makes me feel much better."

  1. The there's the one about two Germans running through a forest being chased by an angry bear.

Suddenly one pauses and puts on running shoes.

What's the point? says one. We'll never be able to outrun the bear.

You don't understand says the first German. I don't have to outrun the bear. All I have to do is outrun you.

    German humour.

    1. No need to stop to put on sneakers. Just hand the other German a beer, keep running and you're cool.
