America now experiencing some of those "peaceful protests," we always hear about in Gaza.

  1. Interesting to see how many will commit crimes when they don't think they will be caught. We teach small children to do what's right even when no one is looking.
It's tragic to see people burn down their own neighborhoods.
Really, don't get me started on this.

How much of it is fueled by everyone on all sides are dressed as if they are carrying out a bank robbery.

Obviously, American blacks would be far better off living in humanitarian Iran (non-gay blacks that is.)

  7. MLK would likely roll in his grave as the progeny of Ayers and friends seek to tear down America. Have the feeling this will backfire and allow good people to join against the poison that progressivism spews.

Have the feeling that, fortunately, these partyers in the streets, who could care about Floyd, are less tough (though more visious and amoral) than those who took to the streets in the past, who at least had actual social justice in mind, even when the movement was violent.

  8. Hope you are right Oldschool. Have seen these things since the 60's nothing ever changes. A lot of people figure peaceful protest changes nothing. That's nonsense of course when you look at how much better things are since the 50's 60's. The truth is that even if we were all one color and religion and wealth level, there would still be inequality and violence.

Asked if he was aware of reports that white supremacists had been involved in the looting, Walz said that based on his “suspicions and what I've seen on this, yes." He went on to raise the possibility that drug cartels were getting involved, too, according to NBC.

Not surprised to see this reaction, considering. How often is it parroted? Hope to see the evidence. What is obvious is the hate America-capitalism crowd that we see assembled, wreaking havoc for sport.

  13. I remember the moon landing as if it was yesterday. The school principal called the whole school to an unscheduled assembly. He sent us all home to watch it on TV. He asked those with TVs at home to leave their names and addresses if their families were prepared to take kids who did not.
He asked as to reflect on the fact the whole thing was being filmed and broadcast as it happened and to contrast that with earlier momentous historical events such as Columbus sailing to the Americas or Da Gama circumnavigating the globe.

She has been advised to make up memorable first words for her first steps on the moon. She gets lots of advice (funny) and settles on "It's good to be back on the moon." When the time comes she slips up and says," It's good to be black on the moon." Funny.

    2. Even with the awful history of anti-black racism this is a bit much. A black man was elected president twice, and white people didn't riot for even one hour.

The murder of 99.5 percent of black people in America has nothing whatsoever to do with the police at all.
When this current imbroglio runs its course there will inevitably be figures calling for an honest conversation about race. There won't be one. There will be a conversation based on the narrative instead that's meant to deepen it.

I can remember Alan Dershowitz talking about the absolute frothing at the mouth hatred from college students and activists he has received defending Israel. This is the power of the false narrative (brainwashing) and the power it has over people. They are taught and encouraged in insidious ways to become emotionally invested in the narrative. When someone comes along and tries to wake the woke from their dreamy slumber, then that person become "the enemy." That person is a threat to their deeply emotional psychological investment and subservience to a story which doesn't comport to reality. This is cognitive warfare.

    1. The rioters held an arson op in the church which has welcomed every president since James Madison I am told.
      They also damaged war memorials.
Looting and arson ops were also held in Los Angeles as Jewish business and Synagogues were attacked. Synagogues were spray paint with pro PLO slogans. A Jewish owned pharmacy was looted and all the narcotics were stolen - in an effort to fight systemic racism, of course.

    2. But watch out, because here comes Keith Ellison. Minnesota's Governor, who, BTW, has done such a fantastic job of quelling the riots (not), has appointed the state's AG, Keith Ellison, one time defender of Louis Farrakhan, to prosecute the case against the cop(s) who killed George Floyd.
The Dem clown car gets less and less funny.

The Democrats: "Working on race relations for over 200 years!"

I'm thinking that could be their official slogan. It's got that PLO/Ed Said type obscurantist ring to it.

But as the week went on, the sense of crisis seemed to lift: The protests became more peaceful, and the troops and law enforcement in D.C. receded into the background. A lot of the credit for the shift has to go to the protesters themselves. In the first few days of the demonstrations, looting and violence were genuine problems in some cities. But soon protesters imposed order organically, remaining peaceful and working to stop those among them who were trying to provoke trouble.

  20. Is there a silent majority that can hold off this attempt at anarchy where police are eliminated? Are Democrats in jeopardy of losing NY and CA and other places as they look the other way?

What are the solutions the protestors, as compared to the rioters and looters, demand? The fact is that racism continues to decline in America. Antifa and BLM somehow rises, however, among the Millenial generation, largely indoctrinated to to believe these new fascist movements represent something good.

They tell us how we screwed things up and they have a better way. If this is any example, the prospects are bleak. They will replace the Declaration of Independence with darkness. And once the Constitution is gone, the replacement will live by tyranny of the majority.

  21. In a discussion with a progressive friend, George Soros came up. He's a right wing conspiracy according to the mainstream media. Some even say to criticize Soros is antisemitic. That's true, for antisemites, but Soros is an antisemite himself.

Anyway, this comment in 2016 by Caroline Glick speaks to Soros. It could have been written today.

    https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Our-World-Soross-campaign-of-global-chaos-464770

The difference between now and the 60's is that only the latter is based on civil rights of the individual and belief in the Constitution and liberal values secured by the Bill of Rights. Now, these values are gone.

Repressive tolerance has reached a fever pitch. The Cultural Revolution is upon us. Will ignorant liberals, swayed by manipulation and virtue signalling, come to their senses or before it is too late to repair?

The progressive Jew must pretend that antisemitism of progressives is not widespread. In fact, it is growing. What will they do when, foreseeably, they will be the targets and asked to choose, just like BLM is now doing to people based on woke dogma lacking scientific basis. Truth over facts.

    2. She is a keen observer. Our civilizations is in trouble. I think these people have had their way long enough.
The lessons of WWII have been lost, not to mention the holocaust.
Racism and police shootings of black people have been doing nothing but declining. You can cite the stats to the progressive crowd all day long, and you will not put the slightest dent in their noggins. Facts don't matter to the "science" crowd. Oh, did I mention that they're fascistic and racist?

It is possible for people and even entire communities to believe something with all their heart and it not be true. There is a big hard push right now to scramble our brains with intersectionality, the mistaken belief that one's identity trumps facts. It's no more reliable than reading the bumps on people's heads or throwing "witches" in the lake to see if they float, i.e., a terrible organizing principle for a civilization and one that will sink it. Don't look now, but our mass media is embracing it. There is a whole generation which has now been brainwashed into believing this pathetic and dangerous nonsense.
BDS wants to destroy Israel. The progressive left, wants to destroy the United States (little Satan, big Satan). It has been working to destabilize this country for at least a generation. All that hard work is now paying off by creating a public discourse that is their kind of stupid.
