Michael Lumish
I find it astonishing that almost everyone that I know seems to believe that the Jewish people are under some ethical or political obligation to recognize the "Palestinians."
This may be the first time in world history in which a people have been pressured by the international community to recognize and negotiate with an alleged ethnicity that came into existence within living memory and whose stated purpose is to wipe out the self-defense and self-determination of another people.
It is amazing and horrific.
Chickens or eggs? Do they really or do they simply hate Israel and the Jews and then use that argument as a crutch to justify it?
ReplyDeleteWe're told every day to 'recognize' 34 million illegal aliens as the apotheosis of what it means to be American, at the expense of citizens. We're told every day to 'recognize' all sorts of groups and identities and self anointed grievance groups even when they themselves tell us their goal is to wipe us out.
It is amazing and horrific and not well understood by many people.
ReplyDeleteTrudy makes a good point: much of the time it is hard to tell whether a person's motive is just ignorance or malice. But many people simply have been bamboozled by the now popular narrative. How many people today know that there was never a country of Palestine, that Jews were called Palestinians and Arabs referred to Palestine as a "zionist scheme" or that 'Palestinian' is a name of recent vintage as an Arab nationality, or the Arab-Israeli conflict, international law (the real one), or the story of the Jews?
If we don't speak up people will believe those who do. What else do they have to go by?
Who are the Palestinians?

================================
Dear Michael Lumish and all participants of the Israel Thrives blog,
For the first time in forever, I will reveal my personal theory about the origins of the so-called “Palestinians”.
(Before I proceed further, I want to suggest that from now on, the Palestinians should always be referred to as “the so-called Palestinians”, because they are NOT the indigenous people of “Palestine” nor are they even a real nation.)
In the Biblical Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 21, G*D Himself predicts that because the Israelites [Jews] would, in the future, taunt Him by worshipping false gods that do not actually exist, there would eventually come a time when He would punish the Israelites by taunting them with a false nation that does not actually exist.
This false nation that does not actually exist is known as the “so-called Palestinians”.
This is Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 21, as translated in THE LIVING TORAH by Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan:
"THEY HAVE BEEN FAITHLESS TO ME WITH A NON-GOD, ANGERING ME WITH THEIR MEANINGLESS ACTS. NOW I WILL BE UNFAITHFUL TO THEM WITH A NON-NATION, PROVOKING THEM WITH A NATION DEVOID OF GRATITUDE."
This is Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 21, as translated in THE METSUDAH CHUMASH/RASHI by Rabbi Avrohom Davis:
"THEY HAVE INCITED ME TO VENGEANCE WITH A NON-GOD --- HAVE SPITED ME WITH THEIR IDOLS; AND I WILL INCITE THEM WITH A NON-PEOPLE, I SHALL ANGER THEM WITH A FAITHLESS NATION."
I believe that the so-called “Palestinians” are the “NON-NATION“ and “NATION DEVOID OF GRATITUDE” from the translation of Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan.
I believe that the so-called “Palestinians” are the “NON-PEOPLE” and “FAITHLESS NATION” from the translation of Rabbi Avrohom Davis.
Sincerely,
Mr. Cohen
It is way too much coincidence that there is so much blatant antisemitism among so called pro-Palestinians. It's almost universal. I think we all know what is going on.

ReplyDeleteIt's not the only time. Evident Rhodesia. Evident Angola. Evident Namibia. In each case the battlefield tactical winners were eventually forced to give up all strategic advantage, surrender and welcome in the people who want them all dead.
