What a lovely partner for peace!

Don't you think?

Yes, I am being facetious.

Designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization on March 27, 2002, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade (AAMB) is composed of an unknown number of small cells of Fatah-affiliated activists.

Fatah is headed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Perhaps it's time to realize that peace is not the object, but the destruction of Israel is.

Thanks to Palestinian Media Watch for exposing this atrocity from Israel's designated peace partner.
The full video is eight minutes long and shows footage of masked men in military training, arsenals of weapons, missiles being launched, as well as footage of Israelis running for shelter during missile attacks.
Hopefully, more people will come to see that they are being duped, that those they enable, if capable, will treat them no better than what they intend for Tel Aviv.

  1. School, they aren't being duped, they simply choose to ignore the obvious.

The Palestinian-Arabs have been very consistent and very explicit in the fact that huge numbers of them want to murder Jews and drive them off of Jewish land.

I have a couple of questions.

    1) Why do most diaspora Jews, and the Jewish left, ignore this fact?

    2) Why are most diaspora Jews, and the Jewish left, so afraid to stand up for the Jewish people in the Middle East? Just as western Christians refuse to stand up for eastern Christians who, by all accounts, are being driven from that land, so western Jews cannot really bring themselves to stand up for eastern Jews.

    It is beyond sad.

    1. Many of these Jews are also being duped, more than you may acknowledge. Look at what they are fed. Multiculturalism is their creed, and critical theory their religion.

Many others care more about Leftist ideology than anything else, as if that will solve disharmony, rather than sow it as history reveals.

Somehow, many think they will be immune from the effects of Jew hatred like seen in the Youtube, but they will not be.

    2. Jumpin' Jehosaphat, School!

Are you telling me that pro-Israel / pro-Jewish people, of the type that we have both often spoken with on Daily Kos and elsewhere, are so dumb as to actually believe the Palestinian narrative of Jewish aggression and Arab victim-hood?

Given the actual history, it amazes me.

      How shallow are these people?

As dhonig used to say, "History did not start in 1967."

Nor, of course, did it start in 1948.

What we need, I think, is to do a better job of looking at the history of dhimmitude.

I have been told recently by someone who I hold in great respect, an acknowledged expert and academic in the field of Jewish history under Islam, that I am overstating the case of dhimmitude. That I am over-emphasizing.

He knows better than do I the history of Middle Eastern Jewry, by far, but I also wonder if he is not downplaying the truth in order to ease his admirable ongoing outreach to the Muslim community?

What I do know is that plenty of other very well respected professors and academics in the same field argue otherwise. Andrew Bostom's mammoth, The Legacy of Jihad, emphasizes the supremacist side of Islam, although it should be noted that Bostom is a medical professional, not a professional historian.

Martin Gilbert, who wrote In Ishmael's House: A History of Jewis in Muslim Lands , on the other hand, is one of the world's leading historians of Jewish history under Islam from Oxford University and he seems far less squeamish in discussing the Islamic abuse of the Jews throughout those fun-filled 1,300 years.

What matters, tho, is the fact that the great Arab-Muslim majority governments, and their peoples, have succeeded in convincing the white liberal west that the Jews are perpertrators of terrific crimes and who must be stopped - and in the minds of some, by any means necessary.
