Sacred Cow Makes the Best Hamburger

Michael Lumish

Ami Horowitz, who I am only now becoming familiar with, has a brief bit that well describes one of my primary gripes with the progressive-left and the Democratic Party.

Hypocrisy.

  1. Ditto. It's only gotten worse over the years and has reached an apex with Trump.

  2. Think about what it's come to. Artists and musicians can only perform at venues approved by the Democratic party on fear of death threats and stigmatization.

  3. Oh it's hard to take any of this seriously. People speak for themselves not some greater cause and people are stupid.

BTW I expect to see several liberal SJWs in America morph into suicide bombers and I expect to see left wing domestic terrorism elevated to a virtue in the media. Liberals want civil insurrection replete with violence and I'm ok with that. Bring it on. I've said for years we're headed down an anarchic path in America and as long as it doesn't wind up in a pogrom I no longer care.

    1. Part of it used to be in her district, but then the Soviet Union fell. :0)
Now the left just hates Russia with the same passion usually reserved for other infidels, even though it's kind of being run by the same people with the same M.O.'s. Go figure.
BTW, I'm not a fan of Russia or the former USSR.

  5. I spoke with some members of a family out for the evening a couple of hours ago outside a restaurant. The man was saying how people have lost their minds and he's embarrassed what is happening now. I nodded in agreement and said something like " let's at least wait for Trump to do something before we all get so carried away." His wife started shaking like a popcorn popper saying that he had already done all these terrible "things" to the US, and don't get her started. I find the intense emotional level of the Trump haters stunning.

    1. It's fascinating.

Trump is a kind of cypher.

He is, on a variety of political and psychological levels, whatever people need him to be.

He's like a vent for the national psychoses or something and I get the distinct feeling that's it's gonna blow.

I've been referencing "shifting political sands" for a few years now, but this feels more like the tremble before a true eruption.

Maybe not, but we shall see.

In any case, I would love to be in Washington, D.C. for the next week, or so.

    2. CNN released a report called:
Disaster could put Obama cabinet member in Oval Office.
Media types are worried about drone attacks at the inauguration. Stay away from Washington Mike.

Tomorrow we find out what America is really all about; democracy or anarchy.

    3. Hopefully, these protests will backfire and reveal for all to see the anti-American intentions of the activists that participate and engage in virtue signalling among themselves.

  6. "A protester set himself on fire outside Trump International Hotel in Washington DC on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, said the act was in protest of the President-elect's looming inauguration.

Witnesses described how he yelled 'Trump' several times as 'flames ran up his back' before lying down in the street.

    1. And then put himself out before being raced to the hospital.

This is what intense Zombie-like partisanship can bring people to.

      Amazing, ain't it?

  7. In the cutting off nose to spite face category:

"French security officials rejected an Israeli company's offer of terrorist-tracking software that could have helped them identify the jihadist cell that carried out the attacks. "French authorities liked it, but the official came back and said there was a higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology," a well-placed Israeli counter-terrorism analyst revealed."

  8. Since this post is closest to the domestic scene, Nikki Haley is quite a difference from Samantha Power.

For the Obama BFF Israel proponents, nice move by Obama to put Rhodes on the Holocaust Board. A true way to show friendship. Didn't Rhodes just frame the argument why 2334 was a good thing? Heard that J-Street and BDS were solidly in favor.

The Democrats' present antics regarding the Inauguration are are destructive to the country. Too filled with something that they can't see the damage they cause to the American fabric. Demonizing and putting down Americans with different views and concerns has to stop. Ironic that they like to blame the very conduct in which they engage.

They have injected fear, so that kids are afraid of their shadows and words are now violence. These require safe spaces, from which the tolerant feel safe to attack others. Recall the Yale-Halloween video. The anti-fascists are the ones generally acting like fascists.

The Democrats that boycott the Inauguration should be ashamed for enabling those that seek to destroy the golden goose. It's a lot like how they act toward Israel.

Geeze, will he really do it? Imagine. I can't wait until he replies about whose hands the blood will REALLY be on. Speaking truth to terrorists; no life like it.

  10. New White House stuff deleted all references to climate change from the White House website! Obama is barely gone, and the oceans are rising again (or maybe receding, it's hard to keep up).
