  1. That evil face in the wave. Surely that has to be Donald Trump?

    1. I gotta tell ya, man. The true hatred toward Donald Trump in the U.S. is amazing. I mean, I didn't much like GWB, and I marched against Iraq War II maybe a dozen times, but this is just out of control. It's just weird.
This is the most gay friendly president in US history with and he is talking about spending billions of dollars on infrastructure in order to create jobs.

Yet they scream from the rafters that the guy is fucking Hitler and condemn him day-and-night for putting his shoes on the wrong way.

It's mass hysteria. There are sociologists and psychologists out there right at this very moment having orgasms at the books to be written and money to be made.

I think, tho, that Trump is a cipher that people project whatever they want to upon. All the nonsense and hoopla and bullshit has much less to do with him, whatever he is, than it has to do with us, whatever-the-fuck we are.

    2. You can say that again. There's a real drift from reality.

Of course, Mike, you do realize that Hitler spent a lot on infrastructure too, e.g., the autobahn, concentration camps, etc. :0)

    3. Yes. It's hysteria and it is contagious. It can even skip countries.

Not good. Not good for the USA and not good for democracy.

This is the sort of thing that people can lose jobs over, break up friends and split families.

We had something similar in Australia in 1975

  2. btw, we're right on the cusp of getting some much needed weather here in the Bay Area, which is part of what inspired my use of the image above.

They're talking "epic" downpours over the next week or so, starting tonight.

Sounds good to me. I think that we'll get a fire going tomorrow and hang out with Winston Churchill and listen to him tell me about the Big War.

That guy could write. There's no question about it.

    1. Aren't you up in the hills? Stay dry. Hopefully there won't be too many big mud slides and the hills will turn emerald green.

  3. I'm going to let all of you in on an embarrassing (?) little secret:
I have absolutely no idea what the hell ROFLMAO! stands for.

The absolutely crazy Alice Walker is the one coming on from the left.

  4. I didn't either. So I Googled it.

    I suppose I shouldn't have admitted that.

  5. I actually hate it when people use acronyms that I don't know. It tends to drive me a bit batty.
