  2. So far Trump has opened the Gates of Heck.

  3. The more I consider it, the more I am convinced that this is a brilliant move by Trump and those who convinced him to do it. I predict a peace agreement before his term is over.

    1. Yeah, Mike I know but the recent conflagration of events and the lackluster Gates of Heck response have me optimistic.

  4. One thing for sure, Israel has found out big time who supports them and who doesn`t. No way they are gonna be part of any peace process headed by the majority of the world nations who are throwing them under the bus especially the EU which has come out as Palestine`s biggest cheerleader.

After Fri prayers more journalists than protestors at Gate of Heck.

About 20 young guys chanting near the Damascus Gate. About 100 journalists with cameras in their faces. If you read about ‘rage,’ this is what’s actually going on for now

Reports of Pro-Palestinian protesters in NYC and London and elsewhere are shouting "“Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Muhammed is returning.” We all know that means death to Jews, not Zionists, not proclamations by Trump, not anything but death to Jews. That's the thing about Pro-Palestinian supporters; if you wait long enough their true colours come out.

  8. "Far fewer Palestinians turn out on second day of protests over Jerusalem
Hundreds rally, compared to thousands of Friday; 19 arrested"

They are running scared. The guy on the street knows Trump will never back down. They know the Saudis are close to Trump and Israel now. They see how Hezbollah is being neutered. They see the disarray in the Arab world and know no one will come to their aid. They are disheartened and their leaders are ineffective clowns with no Messiah on the horizon. I think most would welcome whatever they salvage right now. The recent Saudi peace plan which is probably close to what Trump's team is suggesting is a far cry from what the Pals want but it may be as good as it gets for the disheartened masses. Their favorite supporter, the UN is a toothless tiger that Nikki and Trump are swatting like flies. The game is afoot dear friends.

    1. The sad thing is that if at any point since 1937 they had agreed to an Arab state on part of that land, living in peace next to Israel, there is no reason why they could not have thrived. They could have potentially turned the Gaza into something resembling an Arab-Muslim Singapore.

But, instead, out of pride and pure religious bigotry, they just could not allow Holocaust survivors and their children a respite from perpetual harassment.

I gotta say, Doodad, when we first met on dkos I was far more sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinian-Arabs, but one can only sympathize so long with those who want to see your family dead.

    2. If they had agreed to a state in 1937 they would've thrived as much as any arab state without oil. That looks good only compared to the sewer they've created.
