One of the effects of social media and group think is groups speak. Milo (and Ben Shapiro for that matter) is

Described by the NPReratti as "FAR" or "EXTREME" right. In the Leftverse, there's the Left (Glenda the Good) and everything else (Trump raping a baby while Satan Bush Hitler drinks the blood of black people). And of course everything to the right of Emma Goldman is hyper uber mega extreme extreme far ultra super right wing.
Whether one considers him wonderful or not isn't the point. As for Tablet, I haven't read the article yet, but Tablet, in my experience, is a pretty hit and miss operation. Sometimes good, sometime over reflexively bad. It really depends on the writer. I'll get to it. Now, have you ever sat through any of Milo's speeches, or do get your info on who should be shunned, shut up, and threatened with violence, second hand?
All you seem to know is the fake news you are fed from the likely sources, most of whom have an agenda that you fail to consider. No wonder why you seem so wrong about most things. Perhaps ask yourself why you and others have such a silly and ugly reaction to what occurs.
Tablet took a decidedly anti-Trump position throughout the campaign. Some of it was quite reasonable, a great deal of it was just unbelievably ridiculous. This particular article that Joseph links to is a hit piece. But the target he is hitting is Milo, and Milo is Trump and Trump is Hitler, so that is enough for Joseph who has never actually watched Milo or bothered to see his conversation with Dave Rubin first-hand. The Kirchick hit piece is particularly nasty, and has a link to a page where Milo is called a neo-Nazi for at one time having worn an Iron Cross (can you imagine, a flamboyant gay doing such a thing?), and a picture of him holding in his hands Sir Ian Kershaw's volume on Hitler. According to wikipedia Kershaw is considered one of the world's leading experts and has also done TV documentaries on the subject, e.g., "The Nazis, a Warning from History." Therefore it is obvious that Milo went to Berkeley to give Sieg Heil salutes to Hitler, and tell the College Republicans to throw their support to David Duke and "to be wary of the Jew. " Of course, I don't "idolize" Milo, but I'll tell you who comes close to being an idol, Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Perhaps Joseph could go dig up Nic Kristof's hit piece on her to educate us.
"WASHINGTON – The White House warned Israel on Thursday – in a surprising statement – to cease settlement announcements that are “unilateral” and “undermining” of President Donald Trump’s effort to forge Middle East peace, a senior administration official told The Jerusalem Post.
For the first time, the administration confirmed that Trump is committed to a comprehensive two-state solution to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict negotiated between the parties. "
Notice the description of Milo by the CNN reporter, "... who is known as an internet troll, a self-proclaimed internet troll."
