Send Her Back!?

Doodad

Last night at his rally in North Carolina, Trump's supporters spontaneously broke out in cries of "Send her back." at the mention of Ilhan Omar's name. This all comes, undoubtedly from Trump's previous tweet ASKING unnamed Congresswomen "Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done"

Naturally, he and his followers are labelled racists and xenophobes because these unnamed Congresswomen are Persons of Color. It has nothing to do with the fact they seem to hate almost everything about America; favor Communism/Socialism; want open borders; hate Israel and call ICE workers "concentration camp guards." Since I don't think Trump or most of his followers are white supremacists I suspect they are acting from the latter rather than the former rationale. But that doesn't fit the Left's anti-Trump narrative.

Now the sight of a bunch of mostly white people shouting "send her back," about a black woman could remind you of a Hitler rally.....if you were really dumb or really reaching. And you have the perfect right to think it and say it. Go ahead, say it loud and long. Make sure every American voter hears you say it. Paint swastikas on picture of him and his family and his supporters and post them everywhere. Do it all. He double dog dares you.

And should you lose in 2020, heaven forbid, blame everyone but yourselves cause YOU tried to stop Orange Hitler. You did your level best.

  1. The race card has finally jumped the shark IMHO. It has been coming for a long time but now it seems every little thing is labelled racist and that POC and all their allies (you know who they are) are immune to criticism. That's a bad thing; a scary thing; an un-American thing; an illiberal thing.

    1. They're not immune from my criticism. This only stops when we stop tolerating it. I think we've lost sight of a very simple and elementary rule in our western English tradition, which Omar and the like have no concept of (being from the Umma), "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me." It's something to take with you into battle each and every day. Let's end this destruction of liberal democracy and Western way of life.

  2. Jeff, you make such good clear OBVIOUS points. Let's hope most American voters are that astute.

  3. Omar is introducing H. RES. 496 which is essentialkly a bill to allow American boycotting of Israel. Here are the nasty actors Israel gets compared to:

    Whereas Americans of conscience have a proud history of participating in boycotts to advocate for human rights abroad, including—

    (1) attempting to slow Japanese aggression in the Pacific by boycotting Imperial Japan in 1937 and 1938;

    (2) boycotting Nazi Germany from March 1933 to October 1941 in response to the dehumanization of the Jewish people in the lead-up to the Holocaust;

    (3) the United States Olympic Committee boycotting the 1980 summer Olympics in Moscow in protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the preceding year; and

    (4) leading the campaign in the 1980s to boycott South African goods in opposition to apartheid in that country;

    Imperial Japan, Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, South Africa apartheid.

    I shake my head in wonderment at he gall and stupidity of this woman (and all the handlers who set this up for her because you KNOW she isn't coming up with all on her own.)

    If Dems don't slam the heck out of her for that language, Trump wins bigly again. The wording is custom made for his branding/talking points.

    1. Nazi Germany - a big favorite of the Muslim Brotherhood (she adores).
      Let's boycott Gaza.

  4. "As I have noted in the past, BDS is explicitly antisemitic. The call to boycott "Israeli" goods does not extend to good created by Arab Israelis. The call to boycott "settlement" goods only applies to goods created by Israeli Jews, not Israeli Arabs. A look through the businesses in industrial parks in Mishor Adumim, Barkan, Atarot and other "settlements" show quite a few with Arab names, like Radwan Brothers Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Khaled Ali Metals or the Shweiki Glass Factory.

    None of them are on the lists of "Israeli" companies to boycott. Because they are not owned by Jews."

    Color me not surprised.

  5. The members of the Squad are as American as Sister Souljah. Their Americanness should not be questioned. But neither should it immunize them from any of the invective aimed at Sister Souljah scaled to their prominence in society today.

  6. Send her back is the worst fascist stuff evah. Comparing Israel to Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan is meh. That's the modern media (aka Democratic operatives) for ya.

    1. You have to understand that Ilhan Omar (if that's her real name) resembles in skin color, to some extent, Americans whose families were brought here at one time as slaves from places that were not Somalia. Therefore you, as a white slave holder or not, owe her something. The fact that you have white skin makes you complicit in a race crime with all other white people from the tip of Gibraltar to Siberia, because the Left is full of deep thinkers who say so. Their such uniters!
      The fact that some of her family members might well indeed have been the slaves of Muslim Arabs simply means that Allah is Greater.
      You dirty Jew son of Apes and Pigs must give Palestine back to the Umma before being ritually slaughtered like animals with dirty feet.
      But it's not all bad news. AOC has a gift for you. Socialism! Because if SHE tries it, you just know that this time it will work!

      MIke Lumish has written about parallels to 1968, but this is in another league.
      If '68 was a tricycle, 2019 is a chopper.

      I don't know why the Left hates language so much that it would destroy the simple meaning of words, but that it does so brilliantly, tragically, subversively is beyond question. Don't ever trust them. They lie. That's what I have learned.

      I hope you don't mind these off the wall rants. I'm just thinking and it's a way to get things off my chest and having a bit of fun.

    2. America, no one forces you to stay.

      America, others want to be here if you don't.

      Yeah, Trump is bigoted against people that are openly anti-America and antisemitic. If they were all lily white, he would have come up with some other comment. That's his way. It's not like these people are blowing him kisses.

      Can't discount that the noise from these women, and those that join them, actually shows why people should not follow. They do more harm than good, including to their prospects, but especially to social cohesion, which outweighs social justice in the scheme of things.

  7. One question I would add is whether Trump is trying to isolate the squad from the national debate or to elevate the squad as the face of the Democratic Party. His motive cannot be directly observed, but some facts make more sense assuming one motive rather than the other. One fact is that his unleashing calls to "send them back" seems to have more of an effect of inducing the latter than the former. Furthermore, he issued the tweets in the wake of Pelosi describing the squad as getting precisely four votes for their position on border funding which would have had more of an effect in isolating them from the national debate if he had never gotten involved.

  8. I suspect Trump wants these American hating, Israel hating Commies to be the face of the Democratic Party for 2020 for sure. Pelosi sought to hide them in the closet; he brought them front and centre for the American voter to see whata Democratic future looks like (even if it doesn't really)
