I'm still waiting for his third, and final, collection of letters to come out. It's been over ten years now, since that book was originally supposed to have been released.
Should be taken seriously as a real possibility, especially in light of this likely nuclear deal with a country that has sworn to destroy Israel. I agree with the professor that Obama is a radical at heart.
Born in South Jersey (Lakewood - though most people from South Jersey would say Lakewood is 'North' Jersey and plenty of Lakewood folks call themselves 'Central' Jersey - border wars!), but grew up in North Jersey.
Anything north of the Burlington-Bristol Bridge is just too cold for me anymore. ;)
Do any of you guys recognize this fellow?
ReplyDeleteThat's a young one. Mahalo...
ReplyDeleteLook at you, dude.
DeleteYou put me to shame.
btw, Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 is absolutely fantastic.
DeleteYeah, that one was great.

Looks a little like John Lydon.

It really sucks when your week begins with news of a friend's passing.
ReplyDeleteZ"L my homeboy Jeff, who died at home in Chicago, of a massive heart attack at only 42.
I am sorry, Jay.
Delete42?
That is tragic.
Peace to you, please, my friend.
Thanks, bro.
DeleteThis struck me more than usual, especially considering his age.
So young. Just a few years older than me. I hadn't seen him since he left New Jersey, right around the same time I moved to Oregon, in 2007.
We were supposed to hang out in Asbury Park again one day, though.
Sad that it never happened...
Jay,
ReplyDeleteVery sorry to hear about your friend.
How desperately sad.
My very best wishes to you,
Take care.
Thanks.
DeleteJeff and I were supposed to eventually meet up agaIn for sandwIches, french frIes and beers somewhere on Cookman Ave in Asbury Park.
One day, some day.
He should have survived that heart attack with a stern warning from his doctor. Sadly, he didn't.
I'm probably hitting Cape May in two weeks. I'll pour out some beer in Jeff's honor, there, then.
Cape May?
DeleteThe southern tippity-tip.
Now, I forget, but are you actually from Philly or Jersey?, because I am Connecticut via Kingston, NY... via the family from the Bronx and Brooklyn.
Practically neighbors.
Where in CT are you from?
DeleteP.S. Jay, sorry for your loss. That's really too young an age.
It's a little town, Jeff, called Trumbull, which is just outside of Bridgeport.

I was in Trumbull a couple of weeks ago. I live near Danbury, but my wife and I will be moving out of the area as soon as we can sell the house.
