  1. The Baath party from which much of this stems was formed by Michel Aflaq in 1940 as an offshoot of the German Nazi party. He built the Baath party using the Nazis as a model and as a direct source of funding and organization. The Baath party in Iraq is where the Mufti went in 1941 after fleeing Egypt with the British army in pursuit. After helping the Baathists topple the Iraqi government they installed a short lived Baathist Nazi state.

  2. They are no less insidious than Nazis, especially in their rage. If they had the power they would surely carry out genocide.

Many Palestinians, even if poisoned from birth, don't adhere to what their leadership and the activists do, but they are powerless for varied reasons.

Those who give comfort to the leadership and activists, in the face of the atrocities, who fail to confront what has and continues to occur, waste their moral capital as a spendthrift.

And when they waste it only with respect to Jews, they are bigots.

    1. It seems to me, School, that we are at an exceedingly critical moment.

No one knows what is going to be and all I know is that I would much prefer to see Israel take the initiative via its own security rather than hoping for the best and praying for sweet murmerings from western leaders.

I hate to put it in such blunt terms, particularly given the fact that I am so far from the country, but I think it's time for Jewish-Israelis to fight back.

  3. By exaggerating Husseini’s importance in the Holocaust, Netanyahu gave the media a means of attacking him. But by doing so, he forced the Times to report on the Palestinians’ founding father’s role in destroying European Jewry and his desire to carry out the Final Solution in the Middle East. They would have ignored the issue if Netanyahu had not exaggerated his actual role.
Due to his “gaffe,” every Western media outlet reported on Husseini’s actions. Some even mentioned that in his PhD dissertation, current Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said the Holocaust was both a myth and a joint Zionist-Nazi project. For most Westerners, this is the first they’ve heard of the fact that the Palestinian’s George Washington was a Nazi war criminal.
