Arab anti-Semitism and The Big Lie

Michael L.

{Cross-posted at News and Views From Jews Down Under.}

Many westerners, including very many western Jews, think that the source of the ongoing Arab-Muslim war against us is Jewish aggression.  They seem to believe that in daring to build a life for themselves after freedom from dhimmitude the Jews were unjust to their former oppressors.  This is false.  The real source of this never-ending Arab-Muslim aggression against the Jews is Koranically-based Muslim antipathy toward those who defied Mr. Muhammed.

Nothing suggests this more than the fact that so many of the local Arabs consider the Jews unclean and that our presence on the Temple Mount represents a defilement of a holy site... this despite the fact that the Temple Mount is, first and foremost, a Jewish holy site.  The reason that the Israeli government will not allow Jewish prayer there is because it riles up the Arabs - and the very last thing in this world that Israel wants to do is upset Arabs, for G-d's Sake.

The tidbit below was written by Y-Net:
During a stormy discussion in the Knesset's Interior Committee regarding Jewish prayer in the Temple Mount, MK Miri Regev (Likud) verbally clashed with MK Ahmed Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al).

At the height of the argument, MK Tibi told Regev: "Because of your games in Al-Aqsa (Temple Mount), a third Intifada is about to break out. You're dangerous to yourself, to your children and to everyone. Stop playing with fire."...

MK Zahalka verbally attacked MK Zevulun Orlev, and called him a "fascist, racist, settler." MK Muhammad Baraka (Hadash) added that "he who desecrates Al-Aqsa will find us there."
This is not a religious question for me, but a question of Jewish national sovereignty that revolves around the very source of the conflict.  The local Arabs despise the Jewish people and polls show that majorities of them are just fine with the murder of random Jews.  The reason that they do not want us on the Temple Mount is because theocratically-based anti-Jewish bigotry is part of the DNA of Islam.

They sometimes even consider the Devil, himself, to be Jewish.

Until such a time as the greater Muslim world accepts Jewish sovereignty on Jewish land there can never be peace, but what we need to remind others of is that the Jews in that part of the world represent a tiny historically persecuted minority who want nothing so much as to be left the hell alone.  The Jews are like the Copts in the sense that they represent a persecuted people whose numbers have been kept artificially low due to the fact of religiously-based Arab-Muslim hatred toward the other over the course of many centuries.

The difference, of course, is that the Copts are entirely abandoned by everyone, including their own brothers and sisters within western Christendom, while the Jews organized themselves into a state that now has one of the most effective military forces in human history.  The Jews are not abandoned in that part of the world because we were never accepted to begin with, but the Christians used to be the majority throughout the Middle East prior to the Muslim invasion of the 7th century and now they are quickly becoming extinct.  The Muslims chased the Jews out of almost the entire Middle East following the Israeli War of Independence and now, since the so-called "Arab Spring," they are chasing the Christians out, as well.

The fact that Arab-Muslims generally oppose a Jewish presence on Judaism's holiest site clearly demonstrates the source of the conflict.  The problem was never that the Jews of the Middle East were aggressive or unjust toward their former masters, but that their former masters refused - and continue to refuse - the very notion of Jewish freedom on Jewish land and they do so for Koranically-based religious reasons.

What we need to do at this point is take off the hairshirt.

Jews around the world need to recognize that our ongoing persecution in the Middle East has nothing to do with social justice for the Arab majority in the region.  The Big Lie is that Israel is dominating and oppressing a helpless indigenous people.  This is false and until we change western perceptions of the Long Arab War against the Jews in the Middle East we will always be back on our heels.

  1. Abbas and his nazis routinely tell Israeli Arabs NOT to vote, not to participate in any of the political affairs of the state. So as a result Arabs are under represented by half in the Knesset. They haven't the courage to effect any change in their favor according to normal civilized modern parliamentary rules and systems so they revert to form which is to become a violent jeering mob. If there's flying chairs and something's on fire, it's probably Arabs 'debating'. How long before one of them starts a hostage situation in the Knesset? I'd say 6 months, tops. The Jew hating liberals in the west will suck that up like crack.

    1. I read an article recently, probably from the Elder or Ted Belman's site, criticizing some jibberish coming from the anti-Israel sector about how Israel is non-democratic and the best way, as an Arab, to prove this alleged fact is not to vote in the recent Jerusalem mayoral race.

      Pure friggin' genius!

Can we please take back the Temple Mount now?

What the f**k was Dayan thinking, anyway?

  2. "The 1948 lands (i.e., Israel) are occupied" - Fatah official on behalf of Abbas [Oct. 9, 2013]

"Palestine Live TV broadcast an event marking the 32nd anniversary of a senior Fatah and PLO leader from the 1970s, Majed Abu Sharar's Martyrdom death. Fatah Central Committee member Dr. Jamal Muhaisen spoke on behalf of PA Chairman Abbas.

"Moderator: 'Brothers and sisters, now listen to the speech of Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, which will be delivered by fighter Jamal Muhaisen, member of Fatah's Central Committee.'
"Muhaisen, on behalf of Abbas: 'All our holy places are still under occupation, and so far we have not liberated one inch of Palestinian land. All Palestinian land is occupied -- Gaza is occupied, the West Bank is occupied, the 1948 lands (i.e., Israel) are occupied and Jerusalem is occupied.'

"[Palestinian TV Live (Fatah), Oct. 9, 2013]"

Palestinian Authority Chairman Abbas says no disagreements between Fatah and Hamas

Abbas praises terrorist killers of hundreds at Gaza ceremony [Jan 4, 2013]

Mahmoud Abbas: '...Now let us recall the pioneers: The Grand Mufti of Palestine, Haj Muhammad Amin Al-Husseini. We also recall Ahmed Al-Shuqeiri, founder of the PLO. We also recall Yahya Hammouda, Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee, and we cannot forget the one who lit the first spark of the 1936 rebellion, Martyr Izz a-Din Al-Qassam. ..."

    The 1964 PLO Charter

"Article 19: Zionism is a colonialist movement in its inception, aggressive and expansionist in its goal, racist in its configurations, and fascist in its means and aims. Israel, in its capacity as the spearhead of this destructive movement and as the pillar of colonialism, is a permanent source of tension and turmoil in the Middle East, in particular, and to the international community in general. Because of this, the people of Palestine are worthy of the support and sustenance of the community of nations."

The 1968 Revised, and Current, PLO Charter

"Article 19: The partition of Palestine in 1947 and the establishment of the state of Israel are entirely illegal, regardless of the passage of time, because they were contrary to the will of the Palestinian people and to their natural right in their homeland, and inconsistent with the principles embodied in the Charter of the United Nations; particularly the right to self-determination."

    The Fatah Constitution

"Article 19: Armed struggle is a strategy and not a tactic and the Palestinian Arab people's armed revolution is a decisive factor in the liberation fight and in uprooting the Zionist existence, and this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated."

    1. Iran crossing the nuclear threshold as Israel is condemned

"Iran is passing the point of nuclear no return as we speak. And yet all the international community want is to speak about Israel"

      Why? Because:

The Psychology of Populations under Chronic Siege, by Kenneth Levin

Explaining Jewish Political Behavior, by Barry Rubin

The Paradox of the Jewish Mind, by David Solway

      And the resultantly enabled phenomenon:

      Anti-Semitism 2.0, by Mudar Zahran

Western Culture, the Holocaust, and the Persistence Of Antisemitism, by Catherine Chatterley

Vergognosi gli attacchi a Israele (Shameful attacks on Israel), by Oriana Fallaci

  3. Every morning I wake up and wonder just what type of gibberish may have descended on the blog during the night.

    Now I know.

  4. Yer a magnet for teh crazy, Mike. Now, can I borrow a cup of blood. I'm fresh out and Moloch is coming over later.

  5. My job at the Red Cross back in Portland was much tastier than my current one, lemme tell ya...

  6. I feel reasonably confident that Mr. Galt (of Atlas Shrugged fame) was being ironical.

  7. It's probably impossible to convince people who can't be convinced. I'm reminded of 'as-a-Jew" Peter Beinart who this week announced he's shutting down his 'Open Zion" blog on The Daily Beast. The announcement was through 'Mondoweiss' itself an arm of the leftwing magazine, "The Nation". Beinart taking his flea circus to....can you guess? Ha'retz to bump shoulders with Amira Haas who openly calls for genocide of Jews.

So we've got Open Zion - who advocated the destruction of Israel, announcing through Mondoweiss - which advocates a new Holocaust - that Peter is taking his show to Ha'aretz, commonly called "Hamas' oinly Hebrew language newspaper".

...and everyone involved is an "American Jew".
