Egypt protesters stone PM's motorcade

Protesters shout anti-Mohamed Morsi slogans before clashes in front of presidential palace in Cairo

Protesters threw stones and bottles at the Egyptian prime minister's motorcade on Saturday as he tried to enter Cairo's Tahrir Square after overnight clashes nearby and at the presidential palace, media reported...

Thousands of protesters denouncing Egypt's Islamist president marched on his palace in Cairo on Friday, clashing with security forces firing tear gas and water cannons in the eighth day of the country's wave of political violence.

At least one protester was shot dead and dozens wounded, witnesses said.
If Barack Obama is to maintain anything resembling credibility on Middle East foreign policy then he is going to have to account for his support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and the absolute disaster that country is fast becoming under Islamist rule.

This is a question that needs to be pounded hard.

How is it possible that the president of the United States told the American people that the rise of political Islam, under the misnomer "Arab Spring," was a good thing?  How is it possible that he, or his supporters, have yet to recant on this notion which had a shelf-life of maybe 6 months, tops?  Do they not understand that political Islam is non-democratic?  Do they not understand that political Islam is genocidal toward Jews?   And why do they refuse to acknowledge the fact that when Barack Obama stood up before the United Nations General Assembly in September of 2012 and gave support to the "Arab Spring" he was, whatever his intention, standing with anti-democratic, anti-American, and anti-Semitic forces?

He said this:
It's been less than two years since a vendor in Tunisia set himself on fire to protest the oppressive corruption in his country and sparked what became known as the Arab Spring. And since then, the world has been captivated by the transformation that's taken place, and the United -- the United States has supported the forces of change.
Yes, the United States under Barack Obama supported the "forces of change" and those forces of change gave us an Egyptian leader who despises Jews and wants to see us dead.

Here are a few more questions:

How is it possible that the American president's staff and advisers could not have warned him that the Muslim Brotherhood has a long, long history of genocidal Jew hatred?  How is it possible that the Obama administration is so oblivious to even recent history that they did not know of this?  Or is it simply that they did not care?

Either way it shows an irresponsible disregard for the well-being, not just of Israel, but of the United States, itself, that is entirely unacceptable.

An American president cannot support the rise of political Islam throughout the Middle East and still claim to support American interests because the two are mutually exclusive.

This much should be obvious.
