Isn't BDS the antithesis of dialogue? (0+ / 0-)
This diary advocates for open discussion of the Israeli government's policies toward Palestinians and, by extension, for the value of unfettered dialogue.
Meanwhile, the BDS movement seeks to exclude Israeli academics and intellectuals of all political persuasions from participating in the worldwide community of their peers.
I find it ironic that supporters of the BDS movement would expect an unlimited platform to disseminate their political views while they advocate boycotting academics on even non-political matters simply on the basis of their Israeli nationality.
