The Hypocrisy of Volleyboy1

I'm sorry, but I missed the memo telling me (0+ / 0-)

what kind of people we need here. Can you kindly resend that out?

Great... Thanks in advance.

by volleyboy1 on Mon Mar 05, 2012 at 09:59:04 AM PST

Wasn't it Volleyboy1 who suggested that certain kinds of Jews should move out of the United States?

I believe that it was.

I would say that if this is one's point of view, that the voter who feels this way is living in the wrong country... If you want to vote for Israeli determined priorities, Kol HaKavod, move to Israel.

So, Volleyboy1 is offended at the notion that only certain kinds of people should be on Daily Kos, but nonetheless suggests that certain kinds of Jews should move out of the United States.

The vicious hypocrisy glares.

This is a guy, by the way, who seems to have a greater hatred for politically incorrect Jews than he does for actual Jihadis.

He also writes this nonsense in the same "diary":

No Iran does not have a reason to develop them. (0+ / 0-)

Who says that Iran should cease to exist as a nation? Who threatens Persian People in an existential manner?

Oh wait. No one.

What exactly does Iran need a bomb for?

by volleyboy1 on Mon Mar 05, 2012 at 10:03:16 AM

Iran has no reason to develop nuclear weaponry?

Really?

This is pure stupidity. Of course Iran has every reason to develop nuclear weapons. They are practically surrounded by American troops, so it is no wonder that they want to develop a nuclear deterrence.

Of course, there are all sorts of countries, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and almost the entirety of Europe, that have very good reasons to oppose the development of Iranian nukes, but this does not mean that Iran is wrong to seek such weapons.

It just means that we should not allow.

I wonder if Barack Obama really agrees?

We shall see.

  1. AHAHAHAHA Have you lost your mind? It seems so.

Beautiful selective quoting of my comment because you must've missed all the other parts of it (in other words most of it) where I said it is well within anyone's rights to vote anyway they want. I just asked a question and anyone reading that article would actually have seen that.

Oh and you do realize that comment was in response to noted anti-Semite Wattlebreakfast ragging on charliehall2 for supporting Israel. I was backing up charlie there. Here is the whole thread:

Michael.... you are comedy gold these days. Keep the hits coming man. I need the laughs

I love the one about me liking Jihadi's more politically incorrect Jews as well. Pure Genius.

    1. You do prefer Jihadis to Republicans.

You could not even bring yourself to sign a letter of condolence to Tamar Fogel after her family was wiped out by Palestinians.

Furthermore, you have suggested that certain kinds of Jews, such as myself, apparently, should leave the United States and move to Israel.

You can laugh all you want, although it makes you look just dumb, but you have made these statements.

You claim that Iran has no reason to develop nukes, which is clearly beyond reason.

You claim that certain kinds of Jews should move out of the country.

You almost never speak out against the Jihad on your own blog.

So, who do you think that you are fooling?

    2. This? Again?

I cannot speak for volley, but I know that the reason that I did not sign that letter is because it was politically charged. It was a document designed with political ends in mind and that I refuse to put my name to. If it was a straight-up letter of condolence I would have readily signed it.

As for the claim that volley prefers "Jihadis to Republicans" I do not know if I have ever heard a more ridiculous claim. I am still at a loss on how to respond to that.

    3. Volley hates Republicans and conservatives.

This is where his true passion lies and the evidence is in the fact that it is against Republicans and conservatives that he levels his energies.

      Acknowledge the obvious.

And, in truth, you should be ashamed to not support that little girl after her family got slaughtered. The letter was fine.

The man who wrote is a good friend to the Jewish people and the Jewish state.

You're a good guy, Reuven, but you have allowed politics to get in the way of basic human decency, imo.

      Delete
    4. No, actually, it's the reverse. I have NOT let politics get in the way of basic human decency. Basic human decency demands not using tragedy for your own political ends. It was just as wrong when soysauce over at Daily Kos used Troy Davis' execution for her own political ends as it is now when you seek to use the Fogel family's brutal murder for your own political ends.

I just think that you made a mistake due to your own ideological inclinations.

For myself, I am proud that when the people dropped by to help her through this very difficult moment that my name was there.

I very much wish that yours had been, as well.

I did not ask a lot of people to sign this letter, last year, but I did ask you and that was due to affection and respect.

I was disappointed that you decided against.

  2. Seriously man... when someone offers you a ride on the "Crazy Train" it is best not to take them up on their offer. You are seriously tripping here.

Aside from the other piles of crazy talk in your commentary. I guess I am not the "right kind" of Jew for you because I did not sign on some politically charged pro-YESHA letter. To you that means that I support the killing of the Fogels? Seriously?

As for the "move out of the country" thing.. no matter how many times you say it - it still doesn't make it true. You quote me seriously out of context. To get to that comment one should read the whole diary.

But this... Now you support Iranian Nukes... Who knew - here is your quote:

You claim that Iran has no reason to develop nukes, which is clearly beyond reason.

Wait.. you think Iran should have nukes. Are you nuts? They have no reason to develop nukes nor should they? Are you so deranged you are taking Ahmadinejhad's part in an argument against me? Like I said - pure comedy gold.

I don't speak out against the Jihad enough for you? Wow... I didn't realize I needed to clear what I write about with you and your merry band. Thanks for the heads-up, oh Defender of the Jewish people.

Michael, keep them coming - you are rolling.

      This is your claim.

I would ask you to tell us all just which Jews should move out of the US?

      Say it, you authoritarian.

      Who?

Calling me "crazy" does not take back your words.

      They are yours to eat.

And only a complete idiot would think that Iran has no rational reason to develop nukes.

Of course, they have every reason to develop nuclear weaponry.

Furthermore, you do hate Republicans and conservatives far more than you hate Jihadis. The evidence is on your very own website wherein you lambaste Republicans and conservatives and breathe hardly a word about political Islam.

Perhaps you need to search your soul to see if you really want peace, Volleyboy1.

In the mean time, you support a political movement, the progressive movement, that is also home to the BDS.

Maybe some day you will begin to actually address some of these inherent contradictions within your political world view, but I do not expect to see anything of the sort anytime soon.

    1. Yet another non-substantive remark.

So, what do you think about the fact that the Obama administration ruined any chance for a negotiated peace by demanding a "total settlement freeze"?

Is that an unreasonable question in your mind?

Will you even attempt to answer it?

Or will you continue down this route that you have chosen of demeaning those who may disagree with you?

  4. I don't think this merits a post.

I do agree that there was a suggestion that certain kinds of Jews should move out of the United States. Here is what was said:

"I would say that if this is one's point of view, that the voter who feels this way is living in the wrong country. While one would certainly have the right to vote any way they want, why would this voter bother living here instead of in Israel? I would challenge anyone who feels this way to answer that question. If a narrow P.O.V. as determined by Im Tirtzu or the Israeli Right is what you vote for in American elections then you live in the wrong place."

    What else could this mean?

Further, as I have been questioned for not speaking out, why was there silence over this remark:

    (livosh1)
"Wow, volley. Just came to this now. I, for one, am very glad to have seen you give a dishonest right-wing troll all the respect he deserves. And count me in as one who favors taking whatever action is necessary to prevent hateful, lying, Republican bigots from vomiting all over your blog. As you said, they have their own hate site where they spew their vitriol; you should feel no obligation to tolerate such dishonesty and hatred here."

Talk about hate. Aside from the completely wrong identification, this remark shows, to me, how politically incorrect Jews are seen as enemies because they have the audacity to debate issues that do not conform to the "morality police of progressive Zionism."

    1. You may be right, School, that this does not merit a post, in itself, but I am sick to death of this slaves servility to this administration, as well as his grotesque hostility toward anyone who disagrees with him.

Volleyboy1 needs to be called out whenever he spouts more of his hostile and incoherent gibberish.

For example, Volleyboy1 needs to tell us just how it is that Jews building housing for themselves on the western bank of the Jordan river, means that dictator Abbas cannot draw a line on a map.

Why, in other words, is Volleyboy1 taking the side of Palestinians over Jews?

    2. I don't know what he is doing, and at this point I don't much care.

I see him like The Troubador, who also calls himself a "Progressive Zionist" so far as I can tell.

Living in an echo chamber where every third word is either "deranged" or "hater" or "dishonest," such that the words lose meaning.

He DID use those words "why would this voter bother living here instead of in Israel?" and "then you live in the wrong place." I see no other meaning than the obvious one.

    3. I forgot to add "bigot" to the list.

  5. LOL Michael (since the reply button doesn't work) too f'in funny.

Yes, I did write those words you wrote, as they were part of a long diary which was asking the question that "I WONDER, if Israel is a persons #1 loyalty - wouldn't it make sense to move there?". That is the context. You should also note that I said - vote however you like as it is your right as an American. I was just wondering not telling you to move there. Although, given your stridency and love of the YESHA, I gotta wonder, why haven't you? I mean you are more than willing to put Israelis on the line for your beliefs...

I stand by everyone of my words in that diary. The fact that you have a problem with reading comprehension is not my fault. I might suggest some after school programs that might help.

Ok.. on to the rest of it... Are you seriously taking the Ahmadinejhad line that Iran SHOULD develop nukes? Why the hell should they do that? All it will lead to is regional instability and the deaths of many Israelis. But yet, you support the Iranian drive develop nukes. I thought you defended our right as a people to survive - YET you defend the right of our worst enemies to build nukes.... Holy crap!

Do you have a sad that I rag on your new Republican allies to much.... AWWWWWW?

But hey coming from a guy that supports Iranian nukes and says:

"And only a complete idiot would think that Iran has no rational reason to develop nukes.

Of course, they have every reason to develop nuclear weaponry."

As far as livosh's comment. I can't really disagree with him. What's the problem there?

      2. With regard to bigotry, you excuse your own. Recently, you quoted the dictionary to me with regard to whether democracy was a proper noun. I also used it to show you are no less a bigot yourself. Here, again, is the definition:

"a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance."

I consider you a hypocrite and a liar.

Yeah... so... I consider you a whacked out deranged bigot. That and $ 5.00 bucks gets you a Starbucks Latte. Am I supposed to care that somewhere in that crazed mind of yours that you consider me a hypocrite and liar? Why?

    And this:

And you still owe School an apology for your shabby treatment of the guy as he has contributed to your blog.

Errr... no. You can apologize to him on my behalf if you like, but that won't be coming from me. Who exactly do you think you are anyway, demanding things from me? Why in the world would I care what you think or demand?
