Another Reason For No Peace In Our Time

Doodad

Or anytime soon for that matter.
Arab Lawyers Union honors Palestinian suicide bomber

The Arab Lawyers Union on Friday awarded its highest decoration to the Palestinian woman who carried out the 2003 suicide bombing at Maxim’s Restaurant in Haifa, which killed 21 and wounded 51. The Cairo-based union, which represents lawyers from 15 Arab countries, dispatched a delegation to the home of suicide bomber Hanadi Jaradat in Jenin to present her family with the award.
Ayman Abu Eisheh, a member of the Palestine Committee at the ALU, said the decision to honor the female suicide bomber was taken during a meeting in Cairo last month. Abu Eisheh, a lawyer who visited the family, said the Arab lawyers were proud of what Jaradat did “in defense of Palestine and the Arab nation.”
Is it any wonder people like Pam Geller talk about "savages?" Lawyers?????? The lust for Jewish blood seems to be  everywhere in their societies, not just limited to a few "extremists."

  2. Disgusting. But of course, all too many will see no problem with this.

Somewhere in America tonight (actually, just on the other end of my state, unfortunately), I'm sure David Harris-Gershon is even choked up and wondering what toys he should buy in her honor, or something...

  3. And totally o/t, but I hear the yankees are for sale by their owners. If you're interested in possibly purchasing them, contact the Detroit Tigers at...

    Heh!

    ;-P

    Sorry for the baseball stuff!

I saw the Hunter Pence homer at a bar on my way home tonight, Mike. He was probably the most unpopular acquisition the Phillies had made in years, to say the least, even though you still see the occasional "Pence-ylvania" tee-shirt or bumper sticker here and there these days.

Anyway. it ain't over til it's over! I know I don't have to tell you this, though... ;)

      Did you say "over"?

Nothing is over until we decide it is!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

      Hell no!

      And it ain't over now.

'Cause when the goin' gets tough...

      The tough get goin'!

      Who's with me?

    2. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

  7. Well, of course you are right, Jay. One wonders why, almost 10 years later, a bunch of lawyers would choose a freaking murderous suicide bomber to honour given all the worthy honorees out there and in light of their own countries many victims. The answer is clear to those of us paying attention.
