Israel Under Hail of Rocket Fire, Left Could Care Less

Palestinian terrorists in Gaza fired at least seven volleys of rocket fire into southern Israel on Monday afternoon and evening, undermining reports of a cease-fire.

While our friends over at Daily Kos are complaining about the US cutting off funds to UNESCO, they haven't even noticed that Israel is now under constant rocket fire from savage Islamists in the Gaza strip.

Y'know, I keep saying that the problem with the left is not that it's anti-Semitic, but that they are more than happy to accommodate anti-Semites.

Perhaps I should rethink that, a little.

Israeli representative stood up and said "Israel voted no!" the whole hall erupted in laughter.

There was also loud applause for Austria, France, Russia and China when they voted yes.

Kossacks LOVE it when the world laughs at Israel. They love it when countries with human rights records like Russia and China vote against Israel. And so it goes on and on......I could give a million examples.

But they have nothing to say when Israelis are being bombed. Put two and two together and yes, rethinking that may be a good idea.

  2. Both the far-left and the far-right have their anti-Semites and those willing to overlook that anti-Semitism for political expediency or general agreement. As a whole, though, the left does not tolerate anti-Semitism. There is a small group that makes themselves seem considerably larger than they really are because they are loud, but by no means are they anything more than an extremely small segment of the left. This element, and their enablers, do exist at Daily Kos, and it is an ongoing problem for the site. However, it is not representative of the left as a whole, and thus it is wrong to tar the left with this.

  3. As for the rocket fire, it's not the left that could care less -- it's pretty much the entire world that could care less. The world hates us simply because we dare to be ourselves and be proud of our heritage.

  4. But the Left annoints itself as the conscience and voice of morality.

When it shows it is the same as everyone else, what does that say?

  5. That it is composed of human beings. Nothing more. Nothing less.

  6. The point is that ENOUGH of the left is antisemitic to make it a despicable place to be.
